Devil's Slide has such breathtaking views. This must be one of the most picturesque trails along the coast. The dramatic cliffs and sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean are vast and delightful. If you live in the Bay Area or you are just visiting, this is a must. Be prepared; the trail is not flat. It can get quite steep, but if you can walk a mile or two, it is well worth your time. Devil’s Slide is one of my top trails periods

This is a magical spot. From start to finish it's as though you're walking the best part of hwy 1 without the cars. The views are spectacular and the amenities are nice. During storms this place becomes a unique kind of gorgeous. Be warned, the wind in the evening howls, and can be quite cold. If you're looking for a longer hike, to the north is a connection to the Arroyo middle ridge bluff loop, and to the south is the Montana mountain north peak loop and the grey whale cove trail down to the beach. Wherever you end up you'll have stunning views of the ocean and some pretty interesting wartime architecture.

Cool little walk along a pretty coastline with interesting history. A great way to kill time if you need to before hopping on a flight.

I absolutely love the foggy weather in Pacifica/HMB/Daly City. You can see the billowing fog, making this a great place to visit to get away from the hot weather everywhere else in the Bay. As many have shared, parking is TOUGH here. There are about 10 spots in the north lot, and probably about 15+ in the southern lots. We got super lucky finding parking during a brief lull in visitors. This is a super quick walk and doesn't require any special gear or clothes! Bring a jacket or windbreaker for the occasional wind and sprinkles of rain. Also consider bringing a mask if you're sensitive to the smell of the oceanside. Bring a few quarters if you want to use the lookout viewers! I unfortunately didn't, but would have loved to zoom in on Egg Rock to see the Common Murres. The informational signs along the path share lots of great history and trivia about the area and the trail itself. Be sure to check out Graffiti Hill just south of the southern end of the trail! Lots of benches to rest up and gaze off into the waters. There were plenty of interesting plants and rock formations along the trail. The tunnel itself is super fascinating to drive through as well!

Enjoy the walk, hike or bike of Devils Slide Trail, formerly a 1.2 mile stretch of Highway 1 with great vistas. Be warned, there is limited parking. The north parking only has 10 spaces and another 6 spaces further down the road. So best to visit when it's not busy or be prepared to wait for a spot.

Paved walking trail with nice views. Easy parking and not usually busy. Dog friendly. Little on the steep side.

Beautiful views but EXTREMELY LIMITED PARKING! I would personally not rely on this parking lot but instead park in the community to the north or east and do a bit of walking. The views are gorgeous and well worth a visit. The trail also has rest areas and lookout point sprinkled throughout.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Place is clean and quaint with plenty of natural light. We had the pastrami panini and the smoked salmon and goat cheese omelette with a side salad. I'd recommend ordering the side salad as the dishes were naturally salt
