A cool little place to stop while you walk or bike around the island! It is a very nice view off the west side of the island towards St. Ignace and the Mackinac Bridge.
A great rest stop on your 8.2 mile bike ride around the island.
One of the many named limestone geological formations on the island that was formed millions of years ago and shaped by waves over the centuries. This is one of the easiest to get to as it's on the Shore road not far from town which makes it pretty crowded with the many tourists on bikes that stop for the photo ops....like me. 😉
Very cool rock formation! A great spot to take a picture. It’s a nice stop on the M185 bike ride around the island, which we loved.
It's just a rest, stop along the 8.2 mile loop road. Just basically an interesting rock formation with smoke stains from when Indians, soldiers or pirates through the centuries past stopped to camp and cook under a shelter ledge. Probably the least interesting feature on the island. I was more entertained by the squirrel we saw while we took a bicycle break. Yes, those are our 🚲 in the picture. Take your own bicycle, it's worth the $15 ferry fee to have wheels when you need them. Bike Rentals are expensive and only make sense if you are just on the island for a couple hours. If you're staying on the island overnight or for the week just take your own bike and a lock, helmets are optional for adults.
Interesting formation that became even more entertaining when my friend climbed into it.
Pretty cool little stop on our bike ride. My son had fun climbing around the walls.
Not as bad as everyone says. It's not a cave, but it's a cool, natural formation in the side of a cliff. Has a nice little rock beach in front of it too.

Adorable place with great views! Has a quaint cottage feel. Their coffee is really good. We had it black and also tried the turmeric milk latte, which was very good. Their breakfast burrito is really big and we were able to get our orders made with g

We decided on the Grand Hotel for our anniversary, and it was a fantastic choice. There's a lovely balance of historical charm and modern comfort. The dining was an experience in itself â truly delightful. We enjoyed sipping drinks on the porch and

Amaaaaaaazing!!! We had the best meals of our 3 day wedding anniversary stay on Mackinac here (twice)! I had the celebration burger (medium) and it was the best burger Iâve had in years! Perfectly done with a fresh crispy onion ring in the middle w
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here and had a wonderful time. It was very romantic and peaceful. This place is off the beaten path of Mackinaw which provides the perfect retreat. The heated pool was awesome and my wife and I can't wait to c
It was a wonderful experience! We had the kids meal and also the 1/4 Mighty Mac. It was definitely one of the most affordable food options on the island. The interior looked so retro, with old photos from around the island. Overall, it was cool exper
