The visitor center is open Thursday through Sunday 10 to 4. The educational displays are excellent for children of all ages. The outdoor trails are open dawn to dusk. A great place for exceptional bird watching. The gift shop is open with refuge themed gifts. And the park ranger's have new free programs every month, including a youth fishing program.

To get out to see different sites nice little road walking on a Walker's path and they got a little kayaks small little lakes right there I got some things going for over there.

Great place for a nice walk, photography and birding. Now the visitor center is open which is a bonus.

Wow, what a great place! We kayaked out of here, headed upstream and made it to the Thorofare Canal. Exited out the other side, cut back up through Hennepin Point and paddled back down! This spot has an amazing kayak launch that makes it much easier to put in and get out. All around a lovely place

Awesome place to visit. Beautiful scenery, wild animals. Fresh air. What's not to like?

Great place to go for a walk

I love the park, but I wish they would enforce the rules about not fishing in areas outside of the fishing pier. Had to pick up fishing garbage on the trails again
