This is a decent area to bring the kids swimming and for sports. The playground needs updating and some of the people hanging around shouldn't be...when I lived over nearby, the upkeep with the playground was much better. The staff at the pool and the staff for the sports programs are very professional and organized. I enjoyed taking my campers there.
Love the safety of being able to exercise in the park. The pool and sprinkler area is well kept up and clean. Visit the community garden as well for some good information.
Aside from the garbage around, it's a fun park, public pool, track and ball field, playgrounds for young kids. It's a nice relaxing place.
It took 1 1/2 hr to get inside the building. Then had to shut the pool down for about 30 min cause some kid threw up on the pool. The workers was nit picking told me I couldn't wear my watch, I go into the pool area people got watches on jewelry. The pool I'd only three feet. I didn't get in cause I was already over it.
Great park for families in the area; has a: football field/track, public swimming pool, water spray area, basketball, baseball, tennis, and handball courts. Nice park in the area to remember Detective Keith Williams!
