I don't stop in here much, mainly because I'd be 400 lbs. However the strawberry shortcake is nothing short of amazing!! I get one every year for my birthday.
Purchased an assortment of cupcakes and 2 cakes for Thanksgiving. Came to town from TX so placed my order in advance of the holiday. Everyone on the staff that I spoke with via phone and in-person were extremely nice. This was quite refreshing. They even brought our boxes of desserts out to the car. While the cakes and cupcakes were beautifully decorated they were either dry (cupcakes) or wet (not moist but wet). The cupcakes (36 of them) they tasted like they were at least day old and were dried out. The icing was fine. The cakes (red velvet and chocolate cake) were wet. From my view, when I looked at the bottom layer of the red velvet slice that I had, there was an appearance of a wet area on that layer. It appeared as if maybe a sugar water mixture was poured onto the layers to try to keep the cake moist. There was just a little too much sugar water (if that's what they did) which made the cake wet in some parts and dry in other parts. Again, beautifully decorated and excellent customer service. Unfortunately, no one at our dinner ate the desserts. The bakery was packed so I'm sure their regular customers were quite satisfied.
I ordered this beautifully crafted, delicious cake for my mommy’s birthday. There’s fresh strawberries & buttercream between the layers which she didn’t know ( she’s allergic ) but she loves it! Thank you !
For my birthday, my son placed a last minute order with them for birthday cupcakes, Katie the owner, recognized my name and instructed my son to delay his pick up of the order to an hour after closing time. They had basically sold out of their inventory and the cupcake selection was sparse. She remembered me as a long term customer even though I have not been there in a couple of years. She volunteered to prepared a fresh batch for an old customer. The dozen cupcakes were delicious and Gerald's extraordinary customer service level was sincerely appreciated . It has been 7 years since I provided a review for Geralds. Since I retired ,I don't get the chance to visit them as often. My family and I have ordered have ordered numerous birthday, Mothers Day, Graduate Congratulations, Baby showers and Xmas cakes of all types and variety. Once, Upon my request, Gerald has created custom cakes for special occasions and one year he created 12 miniature Valentine cakes for my office staff. The Tarts, miniature pastries, and croissants are out of this world delicious. My personal favorite is the "Rustic Tart".
The high ratings and images convinced me to try this place for the first time. I pre-ordered a pineapple upside-down cake online on a Thursday for my husband's birthday. We picked the cake up on Saturday to serve on Sunday. I did as instructed, kept it refrigerated until 1 hour before serving. I cut into the cake and was quite disappointed. As you can see from the photo, the cake was dry and so was the fruit. The gel-like filling had an awful artificial flavor and color. The piped white icing was hard. The cake tasted stale, like it had been sitting in the fridge for a week before I picked it up. The only good part of the cake were the strawberries on top. No one, not even my kids ate more than one bite of the cake. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed with the cake and will not be going back. It seems as though they put more effort into decorating the cakes than into the actual ingredients, flavors, and textures. I also purchased 3 mini desserts - 2 cakes & a pecan tart. The mini-cakes tasted artificial and the pecan tart was just okay. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Best pastries in the area by far. Gerard made every cake for every event my family had for 30 years. Birthdays, weddings, graduations... what a devastating loss to the community. He will be missed. My prayers go out to his family and the employees - many of whom were long-time employees who had become his extended family. God bless you all. Thank you for the years and years of deliciousness you provided to the area!
This was my first visit and it was well worth the wait. Due to the high demand of these delicious desserts and the requirements due to COVID protocols there was a bit of a wait to get in (about 30 mins). I would recommend you plan your visit accordingly to allow for wait time prior to entry. I commend them for taking the necessary steps to keep their customers safe! Once inside, everyone is so very considerate and provides exceptional customer service. I would recommend ordering 48 hours in advance online and simply pick up. That process does go faster. Either way, it was all worth the wait!!
I had the pleasure of tasting a variety of desserts and I'd have to say everything was absolutely delicious! My favorite was the Lemon Layer Cake...it was so moist that it just melt in your mouth! I had to look at my girlfriend "BFF" sideways for not taking me there sooner! 😎 I will be back soon!

Very nice bar, with delicious food and great drinks. The waiters are very attentive and service-oriented. The price-performance ratio is right. Our waitress kiki deserves special mention, but I think that's how every guest is treated if they behave f
Went to Muse for a date night and had a fantastic time. It's engaging and interactive which makes it the perfect date night activity. Our table mates were also on a date, which made it fun getting to know them. I'm terrible at painting but the instru

This is a beautiful location for an event. The manor is stately with only a few large rooms but it's true beauty are the grounds as you can see here. The staff is warm, helpful and responsive.
