This restaurant is definitely a hole in the wall. It has delicious food in huge portions. If you're interested in shawarma, this is not a place to be missed in Media PA. if you like my review, click on the little thumb below.
We loved everything we tried during a weekday lunch. The falafel was so green and well executed, in addition to being served with a delicious tahini (hummus) and top quality extra version olive oil. You have to try the orzo salad. The fresh herbs pack a great flavor. We ordered it to split as a side for 3 people, but it would make a great main dish. If I’m complaining about anything, it’s that they couldn’t go shashika. We’ll have to go back to try it! Our other order was the chicken shawarma at the recommendation of our server. This is another great dish! We couldn’t decide what we liked the most out of everything we tried.
Aw man I’ve loved Desert Rose for awhile now but there have been some major changes. It’s clear they can’t find people to work but unfortunately it’s taking a toll on their atmosphere. Expect to witness the series The Bear there live on a Friday night. My biggest gripe is the no glove thing. Cooking without gloves is one thing but even the cashier was grabbing pita with his bare hands after handling several card transactions at the cash register. An open kitchen concept is an open invitation for people to watch you work. Greek salad and the hummus are still my favorite though.
2 falafel sandwiches and a Greek salad cost almost $50. The owner wasn’t there so nothing tasted as delicious as it often is. But these prices??? Yes, everything is home made and fresh. But still, these prices?!
Walked in randomly as I was craving some pita and Hummus. I got in and I asked for help with the menu (it was awkward), got the spicy chicken hummus and it was a biiiig mistake. Not at all spicy, food tasted weird, chicken DIDNT taste like chicken, salad was very very old I couldn’t finish any of what I ordered except for the pita. No cleanliness at all, and it was still early! I DEFINITELY DONT RECOMMEND
I went to desert Rose tonight to celebrate a great achievement in my personal life. I wanted to order the lamb kebab. The Man behind the counter said they were currently out of that but instead he would offer me his special lamb shank. It was the most amazing food I've had in a long time. I'm so glad that I went here to celebrate. Thank you desert Rose for making this celebration for me all the more special.
My falafel platter was Terrible. Worst I've ever had. There was absolutely no seasoning . The taheni sauce was disgusting. How does a med place not have Taziki sauce! The hummus platter we got was Terrible. Again , super bland. The only good thing was the cheesesteak!!! That was BOMB
The food, the service, and the atmosphere is amazing!
Beautiful new cafe in Media. Great latte, baguette with pesto was delicious. Pastries were soft and fresh. The atmosphere is cozy with European vibes on the inside (love the green colors and the big fiddle leaf fig), really nice setup in the back for
We came during down time which was between 3pm. As an cook and Asian individual, I was very impressed with the flavors offered here at Thai Spice. Alot of place tone down the flavors to appease less Asian palates but Thai spice does not do that. Eve
Best B&B on the planet. The property is exquisite with classic furnishings, decorations, and architecture. Stayed in the "Empire Room" and would highly recommend. The room and the adjoining bathroom are large, well appointed, comfortable, and clea
Our favorite place for breakfast or lunch, and occasionally dinner. Family run, great food and people. Very reasonable. Outdoor seating. Lots of parking (more in back behind feedstore). Big B breakfast sandwich is great!
I lived here for three years. Overall, it was a great experience. The staff is exceptional and the apartments are in great condition. The apartment gym is very good for an apartment gym and there is also a gym that you can walk to right across the co
Beautiful trail! One of our family favorites. Youâll get beautiful birds, plants, creeks and a good workout with great views. Dogs to be kept leashed while walking.
Amazing food ...very authentic. The guacamole blew me away . I can't say enough about the Chef and his culinary talents ..it was everything Mexican food should be without having to go to Mexico. The hostess was brave enough to sing a few songs and
