Desert Rancho Motel - Motel in Bullhead City - 1041 AZ-95, USA

Been here for a couple months. Love this place. Great staff, and great rooms. It's very quiet, with easy access. The price is decent and the pool is just in time

Me and my wife have stayed there back months ago and it was a very nice experience. The rooms were roomy, clean, comfortable and quiet. DirecTV and free wifi in rooms, microwave and mini fridge. The manager, Richard, was a nice man and we got along just fine. He is selfless and just wants his establishment to be safe and sound. Many reviews talk poorly of this gentleman, but he only kicks out druggies and bad people which for the good people, us, makes us feel even safer. Marlita, the lady at the front desk is such a sweetheart. Awesome prices, nightly and weekly. If you are looking for the 'Hilton', then go stay at the Hilton. For what you are paying for, it is quite nice. Just right over the river of Laughlin. Boat or car, you get there in a flash. This motel is close to a Circle K which is nice and a couple places to eat right by it and up the road. Would definitely recommend this motel to anyone looking for a nice, safe, friendly good priced place to stay.

I've stayed at the desert rancho prior to this time. Amazing management. The room was clean. I found it's hard to find good customer service these days and honest people. If they think you will over pay or you can get a room cheaper elsewhere they will let you know before checking in. It's peaceful and people in the area are nice. Thank you to the management and employees. I know it's not easy being a housekeeper especially during this pendemic. My 2 kids and I had nowhere to go and they have been the nice people in town. There were no rooms available or ready but someone had checked out early and they cleaned the room up just so I would have somewhere to stay with my kids. My family and I greatly appreciate you guys and everything you do! Your hard work shows God bless

One star is too good actually.||I don't even know where to start here. It was the WORST hotel I've ever stayed in. ||No remodels or upgrades here...in 50 years. The carpet is dirty and stinky, with cigarette burns and stains. My husbands socks were black. The bathroom was just plain disgusting. Someone else's hair adorned the sides of the shower wall and on the bottom of the tub and on the drain. I don't think the floor has been cleaned in 20 years. There was "stuff" dried running down the walls behind the door. The floor in the sink area, where the fridge is and you hang your clothes, was gross and sticky like a soda had been dropped and not cleaned. One of the beds didn't have a fitted sheet on it, just the plastic, torn cover on the mattress. The sidewalk outside would have been more comfortable than this bed. We used the towels in the room to clean the floor. I asked for more towels and was given the third degree. There are just like 3 or 4 Asian women running this place. They don't seem to do any cleaning, that's for sure. No microwave. No wifi. No continental breakfast. No nothing. $60 per night. I'd rather sleep in my car next time if this is my only option. Glad I haven't noticed any bed bugs...

Can you please give me NO STARS! This Dive should be avoided at ALL COSTS! A relative is there for a week. I came to visit. People hanging outside their rooms look like something off of an episode of Cops from the 80s. That or they are in the witness protection program. Whole property looks and smells like a toilet that hasn't been cleaned since the original airing of that before mentioned cops episode. GROSS!!!

A family member came for a week visit and found a room here at half the price of the others near by . The lady at the desk was very nice and went out of her way to make sure she had a great vacation here. The room was very clean there was no dust or dirt at all. Thus was during the pandemic so she used a lysol wipe and wiped down the room before bringing her things in , the white lysol wipe was still white and that in itself was amazing . The place was very quiet and there was not one bad thing she could say . This will be her go to when she visits again and she has already started telling everyone she knows to stay here while in town . I also would like to thank the staff for making her really enjoy her time here especially since the river was all fenced in and the things that make this city a destination were all closed or limited or had mandatory mask usage to go inside.

Desert Ranchos management is HORRIBLE. Terrible customer service. Rooms are not clean. Feeling desperate I paid money for the entire week. Later finding something more suitable for the situation I'm in so I asked for a refund almost immediately 15 20 minutes after leaving the place. I tried to give the key back but they hung up on me. I even offered to pay for the night I had the keys, since they were unable to rent to someone else.. to be fair to them and to me.. And they just took my money for the week without a care and wouldn't give it back or work with me. They are rude vile people who scream and holler when you try to reason. They don't care if you are satisfied with the services they provide or didn't. They are unprofessional, they aren't friendly people, and their rooms are old, out dated, and gross. Most the people there are on drugs. Save your money, don't go. Gretchen's inn Is also horrible my room smelled of drugs because it wasn't cigarettes and I was holding my nose in the elevator SAME SMELL.

I used to go every year to the desert rancho motel but now I wouldn't even begin to think of staying there it's in a nice area of bullhead city the heat is 120 degrees in the summer and the owner won't even get the pool repaired and redone I used to love going there with my 2 girls they would. Have so much fun going to the pool in the night at 98 degrees they charge enough to have there swimming pool redone even the rooms are straight out Below ghettoo worse than South Central Los Angeles
