Stayed there July 2024. 2nd time staying at desert holiday rv resort in yuma Arizona. 1st time 3 years ago when they up graded the park , and now. For the price they are asking, they place is a dive , no amenities, every thing ice maker ,a/c in rec room don't work, and it doesn't look like it worked in a long time..in pieces..filter in pool barely work..none of the secure lights work, .but on a scale of 1- 10. This place would be a -7 ...would not recommend this place to my worst enemy....
The manager Denise is outstanding, so profession. She makes you feel that you are so important to this resort. The maintained guy, Lane goes out and beyond to make sure your site is good and everything is working correctly for you. We will be back here again.
Arriving and seeing the spot the reservation desk put us in was a huge disappointment, we could hardly put our slides out even after telling them how long we were and had slides on both sides. Lane explained he could not move us but manager would be in at 10 the next morning. We stayed in that spot for a night and the next morning thanks to Denise we are now in a great spot. Good thing you have Denise and Lane, they are great. Everything in this park is super clean, we will now enjoy our month!
The park is well maintained and super friendly people working and staying here. A lot of fun activities and the pool/spa area is very inviting. Another nice bonus was how clean and nice the little doggie park is.
My husband and I have been coming to Desert Holiday for years. We absolutely love it here. The park is super clean and well maintained. Denise and Laine are very friendly and helpful.
The activities are among the best things in the park. Shuffle board, pickle ball, games, bean bag toss, pool parties, live music, dancing, karaoke, dinners, lunches and more.
It would be nice to have a refresh/update in the club house, bathrooms and guest rooms.
I hope to keep coming for years!
We stayed in the RV park. It was very clean and very organized. The person at the desk who checked us in was very informative and friendly, and answered all our questions completely. We really appreciated her going the extra mile for us.
Very clean and friendly campground. Denice, and Laine went out of their way to be helpful, and to quickly answer any questions we had, making sure we were content with our site. The amenities were great including a pool, hot tub, shuffleboard, and pickleball. The pool and bathrooms were always exceptionally clean.
Denise and Lane have been fantastic at this park! Helpful and courteous! When we arrived at 4pm the office was closed but Lane was quick to come over and help us get settled!
Denise was very helpful in the office, answering questions and helping with the laundry machine that wasn’t working for me.
We just found the the sites too close together. And with the park not full they could spread people out more!
We were there during Covid. Nice park, however it is off of a main busy street. And just so you know military jets fly over quite often. Nice park, nice location.
Great restaurant, great chef, very good service. Friendly servers that are happy to help you with food selections. We had a fantastic fish and chips dinner. Daily specials. Full bar with cocktails and good selection of beers.
We had a party of 6 and made reservations over the phone a few days in advance. They do not serve food, but allow outside food in (but not drinks). So, we brought in a charcuterie board from Simply Boxed, here in Yuma. The beer selection is outstan
Bit hard to find, but well worth the visit. Fantastic food and wine. Get whatever the owner recommends. He's the expert. Reminded me of my best experiences in Italy
This was recommended to us by someone and we had to stop by. The food was delicious and the service was great. We will definitely be coming back to try the other things on their menu.
