We went here Friday at 5 PM. We were able to walk right in. We had our food in about 15 minutes after ordering. The staff was very friendly and quick. The food was really good. We will come back here again.
This might be my favorite spot in Salt Lake city so far. We're from Chicago and have been looking for an IPA similar to daisy cutter and antihero. The 1972 IPA hit the nail on the head! The upstairs patio is airy and the tables are spaced at a comfortable distance. I ordered the ruben with a salad. Theyre my go to sandwhich and i was not disapointed. My husband got the pastromi and swiss panini. It was fabulously crunchy! Portions are generous! We look forward to visiting again soon.
Food is amazing I don't think they have a bad item on the menu. Huge pieces of corned beef on the Reuben. Really good fries. Service was another thing. Maybe it was just a really off Wednesday night but drinks where consistently not right. Food order took almost an hour to put in. When the food came out it was really good sone items where missing like dipping sauces not a huge deal. Overall I would give them another shot in hopes this was just a fluke.
Delicious, great beer, scratch handmade food. We had the enchiladas: a cheese and chicken. The chicken was creamy. The poutine-they owned their local version with homemade gravy. And the homemade cheese cake is delicious 🤤 . We had the Mexican beer with fresh lime wedges. Great servers and great music!
Lovely place in Trolley Square. The panini was amazing but the French onion soup was OUTSTANDING!
I met up with my board chairman here on his recommendation that they have the best French onion soup and pasta salad combo. It was a perfect day for Utah weather and we sat on the balcony. The server came quick and took our order. Both of us got the French onion and pasta salad. The food came quick and he was right, the French onion was fantastic! Not too salty. Perfect amount of onion sweetness. Cheesy and the bread was delicious. I would recommend for a casual meet up with coworkers and friends.
Left Utah in 2002, but kept property. Happy Desert Edge still "great." Loved the beers; loved seeing the brewing operation. Food was great. Pub Poutine is a great "rif" on classic Canadian Poutine. Great Pasta Salads, Portabella burger spot on. I enjoyed interacting with the staff. I had to get used to having a "wondering" wait staff but it worked. Thanks for about 50 good years!
The menu and options looked amazing however, upon eating them my table found that they were bland or just not that great. The French onion soup tasted old and oddly sweet. The tacos were not that good, and the sandwiches were alright. The only thing I’d recommend is the poutine. I don’t drink beer, but maybe that’s the only great thing they serve.

Above average airport bar fare. The cheese curds and burger were excellent. The potato wedges were above average. The canned beer is the way to go if you don't want to deal with the restrictions on draft due to state laws and alcohol percentages. Squ
