Denny's - Diner in Johnston - 1450 Hartford Ave, USA

I paid a little over $20 for a meal and the French toast was burnt around the edges and it had a burnt taste. It was also lacking the filling, it was skimp. The eggs were cooked on a surface that wasn't cleaned. This was very disappointing, especially for the price I paid. Step it up this isn't acceptable. On a positive note the server that helped with my to go order was cool and very helpful.

This time I'm sending an email to the corporate office. The item in the picture is the super bird sandwich for $14.69. The most ridiculous sandwich I ever received. Less than 1 slice of bacon, 2 wafer thin slices of turkey, 2 old tomatoes and enough cheese to bind you up for a month.

Love the food here, the new waitress was really good. She took care of us well. The Wife and I both had the grand slam breakfast. I had the pancakes and they were delicious. Every time I come here I try something new on the menu. Maybe next time I will have an omelet or something like that.

I was blown away by the warm welcoming and food for a late night breakfast-for dinner! CORRINA IS THE BEST MOST ATTENTIVE SERVER I EVER HAD! I haven't been to a Dennys in about 15 years. If I lived close to this restaurant I'd be a regular customer. Christine the manager was so awesome, seems to appreciate and treat her employees well. Angie cooked my entire meal to perfection! I can't wait to go back!!! Thanks again ladies for such a great unexpected night.

I really enjoyed my time at Dennys. It was very family friendly, affordable and clean. I had the Moon of My Hammy, which I have been ordering for years! It never disappoints. I also had a vanilla milkshake and a side order of 1 buttermilk pancake. It was all cooked just right! My elderly mom uses a walker and she found it very manageable to get around the restaurant. Our food was hot and very tasty. We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing waitress. I think her name was April. She never wrote anything down and she always got the order right. No matter how many times we changed our minds she still got our order correct. She was so on top of things. She deserves a raise!!

I liked it here. The food was good and server was too and she was nice. I had trouble with the syrup bottle and couldnt get it to work and everyone looked at me like I was a freak and my son felt embarassed. But the rest was great. (FATHER'S ADDENDUM: I'm adding this note because the above comments were not written by me but rather by my 10 year-old son on my account - a prank of his which I just saw now. He is not wrong that I did indeed have great difficulty with the syrup dispenser at this Denny's location and, in my defense, I had never seen a syrup dispenser so complicated. Regrettably, I was unaware that my apparently very public, nearly futile struggles to apply syrup to my French toast were so traumatic to my son. Despite this unfortunate syrup setback, I recommend this Denny's. What they lack in syrup dispenser technology they make up for with a well-run establishment. In closing, next time I will not leave my phone behind with my son when I visit the restroom at Denny’s.

I think we all know we're not coming here for the best quality food, we're coming because it's decently cheap and great after a long night out or just a weekend morning where you don't feel like getting out your pajamas to go get some breakfast haha
