Denny's - Diner in Spokane - 2022 N Argonne Rd, USA

VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE OR RACISM? We went there around 9pm because we’re a bit late for dinner to go to other restaurants and decided to eat at Denny’s since we stayed at Super 8 across there. The restaurant is almost empty with only one or two tables of customers. As soon as we got into the restaurant, there was literally no one at the front desk or someone to show us our seats. Some employees saw us just standing and waiting for someone but they literally ignored like we never existed. We just sat somewhere by ourselves and had to go and ask for menu to eat which doesn’t make sense for a restaurant to be like this. And we waited for almost 30mins to eat just one classic sample in the photo below because they said there is no server to serve even when the food is ready and they don’t where he went. Some other customers came in while we’re eating and they literally came out immediately and greeted warmly. I’m not sure if they happened to be busy or short-staffed only at the moment we came in or if they’re being racist. One thing for sure is that we’re never going back to that Denny’s on Argonne.

I stopped by this morning looking for a nice, vegetarian breakfast with low hopes of getting exactly what I wanted. First of let me say that Lola, was wonderful and welcoming. We both got the nine grain pancakes, hash browns, eggs, and seasonal fruit. Our food came quickly and was delicious. A great breakfast and service. Thank you to the cook and Lola. Very good!

We hadn't been to a Denny's in a long time, but had a great experience here. The service was excellent, the coffee was tasty and the food was delicious! The restaurant was clean and well kept. Based on this visit, my overall impression of Denny's went up!

Yes, we are obsessed with eating at Denny’s lol My daughter had the junior chocolate chip pancakes again and loved them. I had the spicy sandwich (see pic). It was really good! Our waitress was Holly and she was excellent. Friendly and quick. Another waitress brought us our food and she was super nice and friendly too! I think this location is tied with the location in Bishop. I’ll definitely go here again!

I've been eating at Denny's since the late 80s. Have eaten over 100 meals there in restaurants in two continents (Denny's is pretty big in Japan don't you know). So I have a soft spot for the place. It's hard not to feel like it's past it's prime. But it's still a solid place for a quick bite that is reliably OK. And it's nice to sit down and have your order taken instead of standing in line and serving yourself. It's a nice place to take the kids to learn how to read a menu and how to interact with the person taking your order. This visit we had nachos and some dessert. Wish they were still at 80s prices, but it's still not outrageous. The service was OK but you could feel a little disappointment at the size of our order. But that's OK too. I don't go to Denny's for a gourmet meal or to be pampered. I go to spend time with people I love in a nostalgic bubble that are rapidly disappearing in the frantic world we live in. Thanks Denny's for being that place.

I ordered takeout and it seems like way less food than if you dine in. The fries were the worst, about a handful of scraps, see picture. Won't be ordering takeout from Denny's again.

Dropped in for a quick bite before heading home. Place was pretty empty on arrival. Our food was very good, and the waiter was friendly gave great service.

It was very very early when my friends and I came in for coffee and breakfast. My friends really enjoyed their food. The service was great. Although kinda felt like we were being told we hung out long enough even though they weren’t in need of the table. But I think it was a nice experience overall. I will say I wasn’t a fan of the coffee though. I think it may be made way to strong. I put 4 creams in and it still tasted like pure black. So if you like strong coffee flavor this is the place for sure.
