Denny's - Diner in Salinas - 1255 De la Torre St, USA

Where do I start? Well, I had not been there for over nine years (since I had moved to Gonzales, then the North side) and since then I've been here twice in less than a month and I'll most likely be going at least once a week for lunch or early dinner... As long as I get the same waitresses. One seems to be the manager there and she is like a mom to all the customers. Super sweet, down to earth, and talks to you like family. Awesome lady (don't remember her name). Then there is the waitress that has tended me these two times... She is A...MA...ZING. Karen,yes, that's her real name, is even sweeter than the manager. She's super funny, easy-going, sympathetic, makes conversation... I just love her personality. I know her name is Karen, but she's the complete opposite of the meaning of a Karen. Yeah, my new favorite place to eat. Oh yeah, the food is not bad, but I'm only going to keep going there for the great service... And because they have Coke Zero!

Disgusting and unsanitary. We ordered coffee, and one of the cups we got had lipstick marks on it… c’mon, you all have to do better at your customer service. Last time we come to this dining center.

Great customer service Karen my server did an amazing job. Super friendly, I had a salmon place which was the best I have tried in the Salinas Dennys. I noticed they were pretty busy, but she kept checking on me with coffee. Great place I recommend 100%

I came in for breakfast. Karen my server was amazing very helpful. Loved her personality and service. The food was delicious. It’s amazing how they keep this restaurant super clean. Specially, the restrooms always smelling clean. Definitely recommend this Denny’s the food and my server.!!!

Karen did a good job in helping us. We saw a lady walk in saying something about cleaning she must of been the manager. So as we waiting for our food the manager brought half of our food out. We had to wait for our pancakes for over 5mins. We had to ask how long more and the manager told the girl they were right there. By this time the rest of our food got cold we no longer ate it we took it to go. We will no longer b visiting this location I saw it as a waste of money since my food got cold cuz we had to wait for the rest of it the worst part I had to ask how much longer.

We just ate lunch here today and the service was excellent i believe our servers name was maria and she was quick and friendly

Karen was friendly. Food was NOT good and ridiculously overpriced. $48 for a sandwich and burger we didn't even eat, just picked the meat out of. We were not asked if we wanted regular or seasoned fries just upgraded to seasoned, figured that must be what it came with till seeing the $1 a plate upcharge. Was also not mentioned that each tablespoon serving of ranch would be $1. Will absolutely not be recommending this Denny's to anyone or returning.

Food was good. Like all Dennys. Only thing I wished was a bit more of a welcoming atmosphere. Poor girl was by herself hosting, bussing, and serving. Need more staff.
