What a diamond in the ruff!! This little store with amazing history hits the spot. Known for many years and some recent for the exposure from the movie "Feast of the Seven Fishes ". This establishment has what you need for quick stop. Loved the movie and loved the amazing service This shop provides!! Came from Ohio, and glad to have a chance to pop in and see this store from the movie and for what it has to offer.
Always a pleasure shopping there! Best sausage around plus other great stuff to be had!!!
Very kind people and best sausage around.
Best meats and hot sausage around. My Dad would always stop and and get hamburger and hot sausage along with other groceries. Great family owned store!!!!
Local, fresh grocery, the best place to pick up anything you want to grill. Friendly staff and quality meats.
Great home town grocer. Friendly staff, comfortable, clean atmosphere. Ask them about their sausage!
Bought their homemade liver sausage, brought it home and fried. Geez was it good, nice balance of spices, not greasy and liver flavor was gentle. Only thing I will say, if you aren't a liver eater, I'll suggest not to buy it but I like liver very much and this sausage is very good!!!
I was in the area and stopped in to revisit a special place from my past. I worked for the Monongahela Railway that had a headquarters across the road from the store. We always went across the street to eat lunch when we were in the area. I was saddened to hear that Fred had passed a few years before, but happy that Richard was carrying on the business as well as the spirit of the store that I remembered so well. I left with a package of sausage that I made for breakfast a few days later. It was as good as I remembered and although I live over 70 miles away, I will find a reason to go back often. Thank you Richard for taking the time to talk to me for a while ( it was closing time) and reinforcing my belief that being a gentleman and treating people right are truly something that is passed on from generation to generation !!
