Deluxe Inn Motel - Motel in Portland - 6846 SE Powell Blvd, USA

It's a very affordable hotel and the lady who works there is very nice, obviously not an upscale place but that wasn't what I was looking for when I went here so it met my needs!

I've stayed at a few motels here in Portland, and I have to say that this one is the best. Shelly manages the property and is highly attentive to the guests and understanding of special needs for those of you with a service animal (like myself). She goes out of her way to make sure you have all the amenities you need for your stay. The rooms themselves and the beds are larger than you would expect for a motel, and very comfortable. The location is also great and within a short distance from parks and a straight shot down Powell to get downtown. We love our stay here!

This place is low-key the lady who works there is an extremely hard worker cleaning the rooms always doing something to better the place I was late checking in and she still made sure I was able to get a room with no problem hassle free she does implement the rules but it definitely benefits the hotel and the guests for sure. Hands down she's one of the most amazing workers I've ever met thank you for all your hard work and thank you for the stay.

The new manager is Awesome and so funny and very protective of her guests, she is not afraid to confront anyone trying to do wrong around there, she tells everyone upon check-in "she runs a tight ship" and she will let you know if you are violating any rules... She has worked very hard to clean up the property as well. It looks very nice and inviting

How in the world this place hasn't been condemned is beyond me. It is 100% not up to fire code. There is a vending machine partially blocking my friend's door. The exterior is filthy. The inside is worse. The heat wasn't on when my friend checked in and the room was nasty. The corners have dirt and everything has a haze of grime.

Shelly is an amazing she made me feel so comfortable and right at home very dependable she was always making sure we were okay and that we had everything we needed. Thank you Shelly for being awesome!

Staying here for 5 days. It's small with cramped parking. Owner seems very nice thorough. He provided me with the wifi code and even came to my room to assist with turning on the heat and cable. The bathroom is newly remodeled. The room is clean, has two beds and is well stocked. Good price for what you get..

I am not a fussy person when it comes to where I stay. Run down places are fine with me as long as there is a lock on the door but this place was beyond tolerable. My friend and I just needed a place to crash for a few hours before driving home to Seattle. The roomw as filthy but it was cheap so I guess thats to be expected. The art on the wall had been burned but left up which I found amusing. However, when I went to climb into bed I rolled onto a hypodermic needle that was on top of the sheet near the pillow. I freaked out but luckily it was capped and I didn't get pricked. Not changing the sheets is disgusting but leaving needles is totally not acceptable. We demanded a refund and instead she moved us to the best room apparently, the one she uses for special guests or family. This rooms bed had so much pubic hair in the blankets I wanted to be sick. We got a refund and drove back to Seattle instead.
