Small place... Great place to sleep and the beds are real comfortable
The service was very kind. The hotel office is in the process of renovations so finding the office was hard. The location is easy to find using GPS. The room needed a little work but I am going to say it was part of the renovation plan. The bathroom was clean like the room but the carpet needed cleaning. The room was quiet and you couldn't really hear the nearby trains. The bed was comfortable not overly hard like some major chains. The hotel is also situated near food. Overall I would stay there again in the future. Honestly not bad for a cheap hotel in Redwood City.
Arrived while raining and there is no obvious lobby--sure, they're renovating and things are in flux--I get it. So we wait briefly outside in the rain to get our room keys. Room is on the larger side and the heater works well. The bathroom was closed and it seems like there's little insulation in it because it's COLD in there. That really wasn't an issue. There were several patches in the drywall which hadn't been painted yet. The towels were soft enough and the room is clean. The train goes by only once or so an hour and doesn't run during the middle of the night, and the heater drowns out 90% of the noise anyway. Good location for convenient and good food within walking distance. My experience was better than their average review.
We have a new go-to spot when driving through San Fran! We were able to get a room at a great rate, last minute. This awesome spot was just remodeled and looks great. Everything was clean and tidy. Perfect for a quick trip. Management was quick to respond and very kind and professional - even with our awkward traveling schedule. We will absolutely be back for future trips.
It's under construction. The room was very very bright! There was a flood light glaring straight into the room. How you expect to sleep good when it's like daylight outside...the wood blind covers did NOT block all the light! They looked pretty but not key in blocking the construction light or whatever darn bright light it was. Gps had us a bit wacky way to get there as well. The trains and noise were ok. Overall very quiet. The price was good for the area and close to airport which was the next stop the next day. Might consider again when construction is complete. They appear to have a long way to go and if we had an updated room....it needs more work.
We went in with low expectations based on reviews and overall we were pleased with our stay. They must have completed a significant amount of renovations since the time of many of the poorer reviews.||||Purpose of our trip was for our kid to attend a sports camp at Stanford. Chose Deluxe Inn because of price and proximity to campus. ||||Room was newly renovated and very clean and with new tile flooring and carpeting. Zero mold in shower. Bedding and towels were a bit old and worn but usable. More than enough hot water. Shower head appears to be fitted with a flow restrictor which isn't surprising since there is a drought going on. ||||King size bed was comfortable enough. Mini fridge and microwave were working just fine. WiFi was free and connection speed was good. Free parking was convenient and adequately sized. ||||Proximity to the Caltrain tracks was definitely close enough to hear the train pass by every few minutes but we thought the noise level was okay inside the room. There were Harleys and sports trucks that passed by that were actually louder. Walls a bit thin and could just barely hear muffled conversation from the neighbors. Overall nothing a pair of earplugs couldn't take care of. ||||True that the front desk person sits behind bullet proof glass and you need to be buzzed in. That along with the overall area being relatively poorly lit at night, gives the unfortunate first impression that the area is unsafe. During the rest of our week there though, we didn't experience or observe anything that made us feel concerned for our safety. Thank you Deluxe Inn for providing us an affordable and clean room during our stay!
Room extremely small, but bathroom was huge! Very wierd. Handicapped bathroom size, but no way you'd get a wheelchair around the bed with refrigerator 18 inches away. TV did not work. Phone did not work, even after I plugged it in. Bathroom was nice, but sink & toilet both leaked. If you like the soothing sound of a Cal Train running by every 20 to 30 minutes, book this. Definitely the cheapest motel in the area...and you get what you pay for.
my brother and his wife had to stay here during a family emergency when there were multiple conferences going on at Stanford so no other motel/hotels available. The motel was purchased by a young couple 4 years ago and they are attempting to improve it. The inside had a good bed but old TV, sad shower curtain, poor towels in a pretty seedy area. The area was not unsafe but looked it. Motel looked like it was out of the 1950s. Office is very small with bullet proof glass. I wish the owners good luck with their renovations but my family will not return.
This is more than just Jui Jitsu lessons, itâs a supportive, inclusive and respectful community. My nine year old son has been learning Jiu Jitsu from Pedro and his team for 3 months now. He struggles with ADHD but here, heâs focused, follows thr
Iâve been boxing here regularly for a couple years and itâs been an amazing experience. I came here without experience and I have learnt so much as a boxer. Gladiators is a true boxing gym where you get to learn techniques and learn to apply them
