Jaylen at the front desk was great upon checking in. Our first room 5333 was 82 degrees and thermostat was set at 72. We were easily given a different room. The beds were comfortable and the rooms are nice.
Very disappointed in the Delta Pantry as a Titanium Elite member. Also disappointed the restaurant didn't serve alcohol on Sunday evening, plus the Chef was not there so the menu was limited. Thank goodness I didn't have a large group with me from the National Corvette Caravan.
The swimming pool looked great. This hotel has potential, but it's not the full service amenities that I remember from the Marriott brand. Charging me a $23 fee for rewards redemption is not acceptable for this hotel. #disappointing
1) Hotel entrance very welcoming!
2) Poor customer service when speaking with guest services at the hotel when having booking issues.
3) Booked rooms online because guest services stated that they could not help me with booking two different room types. Arrived to the hotel and Jay couldn’t find my reservations. Probably because he couldn’t focus due to him having to deal with the dissatisfaction of another customer. Even-still, he was able to get us booked successfully.
4) Rooms were on the 3rd floor and the entire floor smelled of mold and mildew. Even the chalking around the bathrooms and tubs were beyond disgusting.
5) Went down to eat breakfast, had to wait on the chef to come out and take our order. The idea was nice and the chef was extremely nice and the food came out looking GREAT, BUT couldn’t really enjoy my food because we literally had to fight an excessive amount of flies! The flies were literally everywhere.
6) Hotel was basically empty… and now I completely understand why.
Would like to give it a 3 star for welcoming entrance and the nice enough effort in the renovations, but the overwhelming mold / mildew smell, the flies being all over our food at breakfast and the disgusting bathroom chalking made it absolutely impossible.
Wasn’t as horrible as I read but needs some work. Good location and crazy that it’s not busier. No bugs like people mentioned but elevators were hot, but rooms AC just fine. Didn’t see anyone eating, or serving breakfast. Also no coffee anywhere to be found.
This hotel was excellent for me. It smelled clean and fresh throughout. It has a huge welcoming lobby and commons area. And the room was comfortable and quiet. The front desk staff carried positive attitudes, answered all my questions, and had no problem providing my typical requests. I like these older hotel buildings as opposed to the new Fairfields, Springhills, and so on, that are small, all look similar, and offer no special architecture. Just a simple design that can be replicated for purposes of profit. Which is one way capitalism can start to feel like communism.
My networking group has used their conference rooms for meetings, and the venue was perfect for our gathering. Location was great and management went out of their way to set the room up exactly like we needed and provided coffee and water as well. Great meeting spot in a perfect location!
The location was good. Within a few minutes of checking in there was a building fire alarm so we all had to go down the stairs. There was so much mold growing on the walls as soon as you open the door to the stairwell it was very difficult to breathe and all the corners and edges were covered in mold growth.
There were cockroaches in the room and missing sections of carpet.
The breakfast the restaurant served was very limited but the staff were pleasant, but not very knowledgeable.
I heard the employee at the check in counter say the place was newly renovated and not currently being renovated. The hotel is not in good shape and not what I expected from a Delta hotel.
None of the staff knew what to do when the fire alarm went off. It was a little chaotic.
They had a sign saying they provided solar eclipse glasses and snacks for the guests that were there that day, but I cannot say if or what they provided.
The housekeeping staff kept trying to clean the room as we were taking some items to the car and coming back for more even though we weren't close to check out time and have the do not disturb sign on the door.
I stay this hotel 50-60 nights a year. Been staying here pretty much since it became a Delta hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the staff is amazing. Even held a company conference here last year. The restaurant is great and they make a mean quesadilla. Highly recommend.
Home away from Home. The best hotel in Arkansas . Amazing rooms and excellent customer service. Breakfast was complimentary and the staff was very helpful. Ebony at front desk went above and beyond to ensure our room check in and check out was met.
We have stayed here many times. Staff has always been nice, and rooms are always clean. Breakfast well, what can I say, depends on who mans the kitchen.
Afrobites is in the top class of food trucks. They offer safety and excellent customer service (which is hard to find nowadays). Their hours of operation are consistent, they're menu is easy to read and order from. They bring your order on a serving
