Delite's - American restaurant in Maysville - 222 Market St #1130, USA

My husband and I visited historic Maysville, KY, and stopped here for a late lunch before heading home. Nothing better than an old-fashioned diner experience when looking for a casual family place. The food was good. I had a basic cheeseburger and fries with a chocolate milkshake. The milkshake was perfect, a lot of ice cream with just enough milk to loosen it up. The fries were great, and cheeseburger was tasty. The problem was that the waitress allowed them to sit on the counter for quite a while before serving; and the food was not as hot as it should have been. My husband had 2 coney island dogs and macaroni bites. It was good, but the chili had an odd flavor, kind of sweet, and didn't seem to work. The macaroni bites were hot and moist inside and crispy on the outside. He enjoyed the flavor of his hot chocolate, but felt it should have been served in a mug for the proper experience. All in all, a good stop with good food, but the service was a bit lacking.

Fantastic burgers. Onion rings were great. Loved the ice tea. Service was awesome. A little pricey for our normal lunch....but if we're close to Maysville we'll be back

Awesome little 50s retro diner in beautiful downtown. Maysville , KY . Ambience was authentic 50s and 60s music and the Ole Soda Shop venue . Had breakfast on 1sep23 and again on 2sep23 , both equally delicious . Our waitress , Renee , was so cute and very attentive to our needs . Don't miss this gem of a place .

VERY authentic small town burger joint. No frills, no desserts but the burgers are big and delicious! The gals working were nice, being nervous about new places and literally never having been to this town, I may have come off a bit off. I am but, not that bad ;) Anyway, loved it. Great stop and I'll keep a pin for next time I drive out there. I got the double and I got a Brutus to go for my partner, he was very satisfied.

Excellent place for a meal. One small grill, but Bell can use it! Huge burgers and great food. Sweet waitresses are attentive.

After turkey hunting we were on the hunt for local smash burgers. We asked three locals and they all pointed us here. I went with a BIG Burger and added bacon w/ Mac-n-cheese bites. Diner ambiance came complete with only the classics streaming from the speakers. Everything about this place felt right. Only thing I would have liked to see was a pie fridge. Definitely making this a routine stop on the way through.

I had the Greek gyro, and it was pretty good. Unlike other gyros I have had, this one has a satisfying crunch in most of the bites. I think it was the pita that got a little crisp. The pita also wanted to break apart, but it tasted great. The onion rings were also tasty, and I had a caramel apple milkshake, which was amazing.

Food was à expected for a breakfast place. We liked the diner atmosphere. Unfortunately, it was busy and understaffed when we ate there. Only one waitress, so it took a long time to get coffee and order. Cook was only doing one order at a time. On the plus side, we were not in a hurry and still were done in one hour. The pancakes by the way were humongous plate size.
