Del Carmen - Mexican restaurant in Worth - 6922 W 111th St, USA

Id say this is one of the more authentic places in worth / palos . Food is pretty good . More like a local place . Sometimes I feel like the dishes could use a bit more flavor . I usually get the Green Chicken Enchadillas comes with rice and beans . Steak tacos are ok . I’ve also tryed the Tamales they seem to only have red . I do enjoy while I get my food to go they usually have Mariachi on Saturdays and I enjoy listening to the band while I wait . Never have a problem with seating and serve the food quite fastly .

The food was ok. The taco meat is not your typical taco meat. I suppose you assume everyone uses carne asada. The rice and beans are ok. The chicken sandwich and torta were good. The Chilaquiles are made with tortillas chips not fresh tortillas. I wouldn't mind ordering again but it's not my go to. I feel like the Del Carmen on 87th is a tad bit better. I ubered from here and felt like it took longer then it should.

Carnitas are good, and so are their salsas..but al pastor is underwhelming. The prices are reasonable which is a big plus.

I will not order from here again. Food is good, but special instructions are not followed too well. I am allergic to dairy, so I ask for no cheese or sour cream. Today my tacos came with sour cream, when I called to let them know I was told the cooks are Mexican and cannot read English, I was offered a credit or refund, but they would not remake my order.

Great place my father in law gets their food daily they already know his order. They are great as well as the food. Highly recommend 👌 👍

I would say this is a tinge above your average burrito. Plenty of meat, no grizzled, not too much lettuce, and a decent size and price. I have had burritos with better taste, but having a drive thru is a huge bonus for this place. Plus they give you more than enough napkins, where most places give you only one or 2. I will definitely try them again.

Out of all the times I have ordered. I may have had them miss my notes a handful of times. But normally they are great at following notes and food is always great.

Been coming here for years and the food is good. However I don't understand why nothing ever gets fixed at this place. The drive through speaker has been broken for at least a year. The inside of the restaurant is hotter than hell and the ceiling fans don't work. Your eating your food in stagnant heat and dripping in sweat. What happens when a grill breaks? You just going serve chips and salsa? Get it together.
