Deke Slayton Memorial Space and Bike Museum - Museum in Sparta - 200 W Main St, USA

The space and bike museum is on the 2nd floor and full of information. You could truly spend hours deep diving into the documents they have to view. There is a child's corner with some fun photo ops, dress up, and coloring activities. On the first floor is the local county of Monroe's museum, I didn't expect that, and it was extremely well done.

Definitely stop at the museum. Was more than surprised at the size for a smaller town. Had a lot of fun and enjoyed. Driving by on I90? Stop for the 2 hours.

Small museum but full of amazing info. Clearly organized very carefully and professionally. They just added QR codes so you can have some of the history read to you, it's pretty cool!

We have been to many museums, but I must say this one is one my family and I never miss. So much to see in this smaller museum and fun for all ages. I highly recommend this as one of your Sparta adventures. You will love it! :)
