My experience with the Deerfield Hotel was an absolute nightmare. Even though I never actually stayed at the hotel, they somehow managed to charge me during check-in. This unexpected overcharging forced me to cancel my plans altogether. It's shocking and deeply concerning to see a hotel operate with such utter disregard for their guests' well-being and financial fairness. I strongly caution anyone considering this hotel to beware of their unscrupulous practices that could potentially ruin your travel plans and drain your wallet.
Great place to stay the front desk was very friendly rooms clean very quiet here plenty of tv channels close drive to restaurants will stay here again anytime I am in town
I never even stayed here yet they still took my money!!! At a time like this when people can't afford food!!! I accidentally booked a room at this location thinking it was another location and they grabbed my money and never let go!!!
At first glance it might seem a bit seedy and due to its older motel design, but it is extremely well maintained and clean. Its bathroom was one of the cleanest that we came across. In all not bad. The furnishings were dated but everything worked. A decent room for the price.
Overall, it's a nice, quaint, inexpensive room. The staff were really nice and helpful. It's not the Ritz, and the outside is not beautiful, but the quality of the room makes up for any reservations (pun intended).
First, this hotel will not take reservations, and you can't pay for a room over the phone. I was informed that I had to come there in person and if they had a room they would give us one. What hotel does that? Then, when my husband tried to pay for a 3rd day in the morning, he was informed that they had to clean the room first, even though we requested no maid service. He had to go to work and forgot to leave the card with me but sent me the number and information. After coming to the room at 10 AM and not even cleaning it they refused to take the card info from me. They said my husband had to be there, even though it's the same card we used before and I had the info. They said my husband didn't tell them he was leaving. WHAT??? Why would he need to tell them that? They said it was Sunday like that matters. I told them my husband would leave work and be back by 11 to pay and I was going to walk to the store, upon which I was informed that I had to be there too. There was absolutely no reason I would need to be there. They were VERY nasty and rude and I was pretty ticked at this point, so while talking to my husband I told him I was going to write a bad review. I guess they heard me and then told me I could just get my stuff and check out. Are you KIDDING me??!!They also accused me of threatning them which never happened. THEN, they actually called the cops saying we wouldn't pay for the room (even though my husband had tried to ) or leave. Even the cops thought these people were crazy. I have never been treated like that, especially as a paying customer at an establishment. Absolutely horrible, nasty people. ||||Also, the TV was very old and the color was horrible. Everything was blue tinted. The ice machine didn't work and the toilet has no lid on it. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
I booked the room online. The price was acceptable for the service provided. The room had a very musty odor when we first arrived. We turned the air/ heat on and opened the door for a bit and the smell went away. It appeared clean, found a big spider in the morning in the bathroom. The staff was nice. No breakfast service (coffee pot, mini fridge & microwave was in the room). The phone didn't work, but the wifi did.
Very nice clean room. Great price. I believe the owner and his wife like every there because the lobby smelt like some kind of nasty curry and noodles. Great room, hot water. Decor could use updating....looks like the 70's
