Absolutely beautiful. Very well maintained lawn and flowers. Very clean and large shower house. Close walk to the public pool and park that offers a 9 hole disc golf course along with other park and recreational activities. A short walk along the river to the historical down town area that has some amazing shops. Loved our stay!

What a great find! Beautiful, well maintained campground. Shower house is big and very clean. Loved that there was laundry on sight. Nice size lots with a cement pad. When we checked in we were given brochures on things to do in Elkader and the area. All roads in the campground are blacktop and nice large sidewalks on both sides, which make it great for walking. We will definitely be back!!
We really enjoyed our stay this past weekend. Such a super clean campground and has a good family vibe. We enjoyed the basketball hoop and the balls that were provided (they could use some more air😉), kids loved going to the park and playing with the other kids that were staying, the roads were pavement so the kids could enjoy their scooters, and the bathroom/shower house was amazing! The only suggestion I can make is that it would be nice to see signs on the doors if it was a restroom or shower. 10/10 definitely recommend 😊
Visiting friends who camp here..We had a wonderful time eating, visiting, kids played at the camp playground. Beautiful area
Stayed here for a week over the 4th of July. The park is beautiful, sites are huge and the staff is awesome(talking about you Erica). Elkader is a great little town. Saw the new Indiana Jones movie in their theater, watched live country music at the beautifully restored Elkader Opera House, had dinner at the pizza shop and shopped in the well stocked grocery store. Also visited Spook Cave, Prairie du Chien, Glen Haven, took the car ferry across the Mississippi River and enjoyed the Fourth of July festivities in Cassville. We loved the camp ground and enjoyed all the things to do in the area. Highly recommend.
They have beautifully maintained grounds, the staff is super friendly, clean water, good power, great internet, immaculate shower/bathroom building, but the best thing here is the size of the sites - HUGE!! I would estimate that these are twice as wide as the average site. What a difference this makes, when your neighbor isn't staring into your window. 1/3 mile circle trail around their lake, park with disc golf course and outstanding museum right next door. This is a place that we would not mind returning to - 5 stars despite their above average nightly rate and expensive laundry ($3.50/wash).
Great RV Park! Very clean. Level concrete pads with full hook ups. Very clean and well maintained. Great location in a very scenic part of Iowa. Doris at the office was great! Very friendly and a pleasure to visit with. We needed an overnight stay while we are picking up a new puppy from a local breeder and Deer Run was a very pleasant find. Looking forward to returning there again to explore the area more. We highly recommend Deer Run! We stayed there August of 2020.
