This is a delightful park with a space-themed playground that is both well designed and well maintained. There are several large fields, one of which has two big soccer goals set up, and a walking path that goes around the perimeter of the park. There are also a few picnic pavilions and a concession stand (which I assume is only open during events here).
The playground was refurbished in the last year, and a synthetic (or something) sand pit was added. A good idea in theory, but the sand gets brought to the play area and makes it SO slick to try and walk/run on. I've seen a child or adult slip 4 visits in a row. It's a fun playground overall. Just be mindful of the slippery sand on the rubber ground of the playground area. If that was addressed, I would give the park 4 stars.
I have been going to this park since I was a little kid. And now I can start to take my own kids to the Rocket Park. It’s a great experience and tradition in my family to go to the Rocket Park. Can’t wait to make more memories with my kids. Your kids will never not have an amazing time here.
Really nice large playground, tons of swings and fun theme. A little muddy right after the floods but after a few days it dried out. Right along deer creek Greenway so great for a bicycle day.
Great rocket ship playground. I'd like to see someone post an old photo of the original rocketship jungle gym. The park service did a super job of finding (or designing) something very similar to the one I played on & marveled at in the 1970's. We lived in South County & my parents worked in Clayton. My sisters & I rode past this wonderful structure every time we went to Clayton or Forest Park & longed to stop there.
First time at this park. Great space-themed play area for kids 4 and up. Plenty of seating for kids And they have bathrooms and a Pavillion with picnic tables.
Its cute and small. A nice place to stop at on your lunch break but not necessarily a park you could spend all day at.
Nice park. Love the sand volleyball court, the only negative is the big light keeps turning off and it takes a long time for it to heat back up and turn on.

The staff were the friendliest of people, so were the cats- very tame and good natured. They even had all the cat photos with their names and their nature on one of the windows. It was an interesting time interacting with the various resident cats an
Great food. Accidentally forgot one of our dishes and had to cook it. A bit pricey. The brought a little piece of chocolate cake for our birthday guest.
We stopped here on our way out of town. Perfect for a quick lunch. Service was great and our sushi was delicious! 10/10 we would dine here again if we lived closer. They have a variety of bubble tea, all very fairly priced. The ginger was interesting
Fresh waffles with ice cream?? Was isn't to love?? Delicious. They also provide maple syrup as well as Vanilla, Chocolate and Caramel sauces to drizzle on. Powdered sugar? Yes, please! I recommend the Blackberry Cobbler ice cream.
Now reopen!
Been closed since the flooding back in July, they've just reopened.
Menu uis mostly the same, but they got a new pizza oven and serve small st. Louis style pizzas now.
Good food, good service with a very friendly staff. Nice location
I would like to say this is a very enjoyable sandwich deli to eat at. Excellent attention to detail on each the sandwiches I've ordered up to this point. The restaurant is very clean and parking was no problem outside.
