This hotel is perfect. The rooms are very clean and the hotel is well maintained. The staff is absolutely wonderful and very friendly. The pool looks awesome. We have stayed there twice and both times it was a delight. We stayed on the lake view side and it was really pretty. I called to make reservations and it was very easy.
The lady who checked us in last night was extremely polite and very accommodating. We had been on the road all day and it was the perfect place to rest for the night. The rooms are clean and the pool was clear blue! Due to time constraints we didn't get to see much of the lake in the morning but it looked beautiful.
Overall, just needed a cheap place to sleep before a fishing tournament and this was perfect. Easy access to boat ramp, however there is a $20 launch fee, which is a little high in my opinion as other boat ramps have $5-$10 launch fees.
I didn't want to leave. This place is CLEAN!!! The pool is perfect temp and CLEAN!!! Sarah(I hope that's the right lady) was helpful and sociable/friendly. It's close to plenty of things to do and room 1 had a key good view of the water, made me feel at home(Michigan lake life) not a single complaint... We will be back!
Customer service was top notch. Nothing fancy about rooms but they were clean and everything worked.
It was a nice place. Nothing spectacular but perfect for what we needed. It was clean and the lady (owner?) was delightful! I would definitely stay there again if in the area!
We have stayed here several times and have always been happy with it. It is dated, if you are looking for fancy and modern, this isn't for you. We just want a place to sleep and shower, this is it. The rooms have always been very clean. Our room last weekend had new bedding that was beautiful. We have never used the pool, but the times I have walked by it looks very nice. There are picnic tables, bbq grills and a fire pit that also look nice. Our rooms have all had a microwave and mini fridge.|Our only complaint is the curtains are 3 separate pieces that are hard to keep closed when the air is on, clothes pins would help.
Just want to thank the guy that gave this fantastic Motel and staff a negative review and told people not to go there, think his name is Bill P. I want to thank you because after reading your review I thought " I really want to meet these two crazy sisters that run the deepwater inn " and man am I glad I did. One persons idea of crazy is another persons idea of personality and moxie.These two beautiful ladies were awesome !! Not only were they very pleasant but very accommodating on anything we needed. The motel is nicely located near the lake. Nice scenic view. The rooms are spotless and well kept because of the two sisters and there staff. Get the king size bed, its huge and I slept great on it. On the grounds near the pool have picnic tables and your own camp fire ring and firewood all ready to use. All in all this was a great place to stay for a great price. And to the guy that said two crazy ladies run the place, il just say thanks again. Because if I hadn't read your negative review I might not have stayed at the Deepwater Inn. The two sisters that run the motel ( Diane and Elaine ) are both two very nice ladies with great personalities. I will be definetly staying there again !!
