Starter isn't so nice but the course is pretty good. Better be there 15 minutes early because approaching the starter a minute early doesn't cut the cheese. Cart girl, ranger, starter, and guy that brings a cart to you when you arrive are all a plus for a guy that likes to play a round of golf with a good pace. Greens and tee boxes had a green sand thrown on them and not sweeped in, but it is obvious that they take care of this course. Greens a little shaggy and a bit slow because of it but may have caught them just before mowing, not sure.

The greens are starting to come back thanks to the tireless work of the crew. Fairways are beautiful and the layout, as always, is challenging. You won't find a nicer, more welcoming and hospitable staff in all of Southwest Florida. Give Deep Creek a try...you'll love it!

A lot tougher than its length would suggest. Staff very friendly. Nice bar/restaurant. Peppy carts. Greens need a bit of work as they are a little slow and bumpy. Traps nicely groomed but a little packed. You are best advised to play with someone who knows the course as trouble is not always obvious from the tee.

Had a great time golfing at Deep Creek this week. Check-in was effortless, golf course was in good shape and challenging. Pro Shop gentleman checking our group in was so nice, friendly, and professional, as were the cart guys and starter. What a wonderful day at golf. Would highly recommend this course, and will be back soon!

Deep Creek Golf, great course, well cared for, great staff. The only negative is their new year Jan 24 price increase. It's a shame they will chase us snowbird players away!

Played yesterday. Staff always inviting and pleasant. Course in great shape. Hole placement was challenging yesterday. Kudos to the green keepers. Even the alligator in the pond by the first green was nice to let us play through. Looking forward to playing more regularly. Thank you.

Staff was awesome. Course is doing very well. Only issue we had was no ranger. The two foursomes in front of us thought they were pros. They were playing for money or something (I was told this group does this every week, by an employee, and that most people just skip holes to go around them) and everything was a production. One guy didn't even get ready to hit before the next had hit his. It was like golf in slow motion. It was brutal. We ended up skipping holes to get around them. I've played a lot of slow rounds but this was beyond that. That was the only knock on Deep Creek. I'll be back though.

I always loved the layout. The greens were a little rough. They had been aerated and sanded, but they have been having some problems with the greens for a few months. The pace was good. We booked a 12:01 teetime and arrived at 11:30. They would not let us go out until 11:50. We felt that was a little nuts considering there was nobody out there and it was 103 heat index.
