Overall great place. I almost want to buy little bug zappers for the mosquitoes. The shrimp in the shrimp salad should be tail off. The chowder was decent. The Burger was a 7. Clam cakes were a little small. Big fish portion for the fish and chips.

So happy I found this place started my training over at the UNION Academy asked some locals for good finger Food & was pointed in the right direction. atmosphere was great. I love it’s history coming from the city 🏙️ always around loud noises cars people only seeing buildings it was so relaxing to enjoy my meal outside Birds chirping, friendly neighbors again great food bottomline they’ll be seeing a lot more of me the month that I’m here

Hey drove from Richmond, VA to get me some whole bellies clams! Anytime I'm in CT I always try to make a stop at DB. Been here for 85 years. Summer outdoor food stand with lots of picnic tables. Can't get whole bellies down south, least where I am, so always looking tonget some. They are lightly fried with a good batter, always tasty. Another northern thing I moss are clam cakes, so we grabbed a 1/2 dozen of those as well. Back in the day this was a normal hang out spot for some grub or some ice cream. Pretty cool that I've gotten my kids to look forward to DB stop anytime we are visiting. Got a pint of clams, clam cakes, a scoop of cookies n cream and a banana split. Staff is always friendly. Food is pretty quick, always hot and tasty. Great New England tradition, always well worth the trip!

Food was good. Portion size was right for the price...$6 for fish sandwich. Scallop roll was plentiful but the lobster roll was not. Didn't care for all the kids in sports cars that just hung around the parking lot and took all the parking spaces

Great seafood, fries, and the coleslaw is the best I've had bar none. They have light, crispy, batter which makes their fish, scallops, and clams fantastic. Ice cream is good as well. Being a stand it is outdoor dining only, picnic tables. Not much to see as it's in the middle of a neighborhood but they've done a nice job of maintaining their shade trees so it's a pleasant outdoor, self serve, dining experience. Not kidding about the coleslaw; I swing by and just by coleslaw on a regular basis.

We always love coming to Mike's stand for ice cream. And food. Burgers are always delicious. Ice cream is great. Line can be a little long but it moves pretty quick and is worth waiting. The picnic tables fill up quick. It's always busy. Reasonable prices. My whole family enjoys going here. We come a couple times a month. Sad that it will be closing on September 17th.

Burgers were juicy and good, but incredibly small, especially for the price. Fries were also a very small portion. Asking the two working the registers questions about the food shouldn't have been as frustrating as it was. We happened to stop when it was empty, but could see how tough it would be to get parking. Overall, food was decent, but expensive.

Frozen food. Ok ice cream. Prices rise yearly. Not a bad option but definitely could improve. I am updating my review and adding a fourth star, this is because they have brought some SAFE normally to this covid-19 hysteria.
