Rpv beautiful ocean view park. Great for sunsets, pictures, picnics. Parking limited off main highway. Restrooms are a bit of a hike, but well worth the walk.
Perhaps the best LA Harbor view spot! This park is an all around great place for visitors to see, groups to learn and locals to use! The nature Center has exhibits with information on the local ecosystem, vegetation and animals that roam the land. Whenever I’ve been here on weekdays, I’m almost always seeing bus and van groups visiting the Nature Center. On weekends and weekday evenings, the group activities seem to be more on the gym and playing field side. There’s a park office and a popular playground for the kids to play at next to the gym! The park is one of my favorite workout and hiking locations, with awesome views on hillside trails that overlook the ocean and the harbor. The upper park across the parking lot from the Nature Center, has several rows of picnic tables also overlooking the LA - Long Beach harbor, including the famous Vincent Thomas Bridge. On a clear day, it’s even possible to see the buildings of Long Beach, as well as the smokestacks of the world famous Queen Mary, over at the Long Beach side of the port. Public restrooms are at both ends of the park, tho as the Nature Center closes, the restrooms on that end may also be closed shortly thereafter. I’m really feeling on top of the world, taking and eating my lunch up here! Given a birthday party, I could have my cake and eat it too!
This is a great park with a variety of areas like a playground, picnic tables, sports fields, nature center & hiking paths. The top of the hill has some nice views. Just like most of the rest of the peninsula, there are snake warning signs-especially around hiking paths (though personally, I've noticed more lizards).
I love this park. It has one of the most spectacular views in SoCal. Let's keep it clean and family friendly.
It's a great hike with tons of wildlife.
Surplus of parking, Spacious area, friendly visitors & spectacular views. Not the prettiest or cleanest of parks, but definitely Peaceful and Comfy..
Beautiful trails near the ocean, at the top of Palos Verdes crest line. Plenty of restrooms and well kept playgrounds.
This park is a hidden gem in San Pedro. Beautiful hiking trail. The views overlooking Long Beach and Los Angeles are lovely. Quiet nature scenery. Great open spaces for dogs to run.

Another beautiful spot in Palos Verdes. Nice and easy hiking trail, good for kids. Very clean park and trail. There are a few benches next to the parking lot and also inside that you can sit down and do some picnic.
The views are incredible! I most loved that the trails aren't packed, like in some other spots in North LA. You get a lot of peace and quiet, I went late Saturday morning and there wasn't a lot of people and parking was easy.
A spectacular well-hidden spot thatâs open to the public not just the resort. For those who may not know, this spot is entirely open to the public. We initially went there and saw lots of cars entering the resort with valet parking up to $25 per d
It was kind of confusing on where to start and where to park. We found a parking lot that was $6 a car (which I thought was reasonable). And then we just started walking. There are a lot of different trails to go on and a lot of steep paths, as well.
