I literally took a trip to Turkey when i visited the DCA Cafe. This hidden gem is located in the Diyanet Center of America featuring a spectacular architectural design. Food was great but the service was not up to par and i wish they were more welcoming. However, I still recommend if you have a taste for authentic Turkish cuisine. ♿️Wheelchair Accessible Entrance✅ Lovely Ambiance ✅ Free Parking ✅ ♿️Wheelchair Accessible Parking✅ 🚻 Restroom ✅
On a recent trip from DC to Annapolis, I looked up restaurants along the way and DCA Cafe popped up. DCA cafe looked delicious and was on a campus with a mosque, so it definitely looked intriguing. And it wasn't crazy out of the way. If it looks vacant wheb you drive up, don't worry, follow the path and park underground, there are signs for the Cafe. It is super easy to find because there are only 3 or 4 buildings, it just looks like intimidating from the road like, will I find this place and will it be open? When you walk in, it is vast with plenty of tables. You order at the register, there are drinks and fresh baked breads. The menu has breads, meat, rice, sandwiches. They also have Turkish coffee and tea. It is very relaxing and they are super friendly. This is exactly the kind of interesting spot when you're on the road.
Excellent place for turkish food. Its all halal. The entire compound where this is located is beautiful. Turkish architecture is amazing. As for the food in this place, it also was amazing. We tried the iskendar, pizza (im forgetting the exact name but its without cheese and has minced beef on it), cheese pide, bakhlava, thres leches cake (turkish style). Everything was very delicious. All of the staff are super friendly and nice.
A unique experience! Cafe style restaurant located *inside* the gorgeous Turkish mosque and cultural center in Lanham. Beautiful architecture outside and in. Freshly prepared menu with many Doner sandwich and kebab platter variations. Several choices of meats. The mixed kebab platter (2 meats, salad, flat bread, and rice) was a good lunch choice. Lots of beautiful dessert options too! And the coffee was amazing. I'll definitely be a return customer. Go check it out!
Good food. Clean and very good service.
Delicious Turkish food, the restaurant offers breakfast and lunch menus. The food is always very fresh and they bake their own bread and semet.
Love the fact that this cafe is within few feet from the mesjis. It was clean and spacious. Food is great. Such a beautiful full spectrum cafe. Staff was nice. We went during a busy day and they ran out of Turkish coffee and tea.
Place is gorgeous we just followed the signs for the cafe in the underground parking garage. Prices between 14-21 for the food which was the perfect portion sizes for us adults. Got the cheese pide, meatballs, mixed kebap and chicken sandwich and all were excellent. Staff were super lovely. The hot pepper served to the side with the food is HOT, they got our group member who made the mistake of trying to eat it whole, a glass of milk and checked back in on us. Don’t worry the food itself is just perfectly spiced, not to hot at all. Great chance to see a part of this gorgeous mosque complex and have some good foods.
Wow. Huge temple and felt like I was in India until I come out. Festival poojas are celebrated like in India. Annadhanam was very well planned. Organizers and volunteers are very much appreciated. Vazhai elai food after a very long time in US.
The floral department and bakery departments both went above and beyond to assist me! Both associates were very friendly and helpful and did a great job with their products. The associate working the self checkout was very friendly and helpful! I tru
This is my preferred park to bring kids both under 5 and older. There are activities for both ages and designated area to advise kids to stay in a safe zone. Parking is plentiful, but don't listen to Google map, park on the entrance on good luck rd a
We went to their playground area to picnic and let the kids play. I used to come here with my kids, nieces and nephew over 20 yrs ago. Now I live up the street from it.
WOW! I appreciate the love in your dishes. Cassava leaves were phenomenal! I have never eaten so much at one time. Perfectly balanced with tender flavorful meats. Same for the goat stew. Clearly prepared by the hands of a loving artist.
Hidden gem! Service was amazing. Efficient and polite. Attentive to our table the entire duration of our meal. Food was freshly prepared. Catfish and cheese grits were delectable! The french toast with chicken thighs was also tasty. Recommend getting
Magnificent new 10 month facility. They do offer free 3 day guest pass but ill probably join because its so spacious and has lots of different rooms and new equipment. Free parking lot. Staff is organized and friendly.
