Daytona Beach Resort & Conference Center - Featured Reviews (2292)
We rented a room through Airbnb, and while the room was lovely with a beautiful sea view, the overall state of the building was disappointing. Although the room and corridors were clean, the building felt abandoned, as if it was still in the pandemic period. There were no employees to be found, no one at the front desk, and all amenities were closed, including the stores, offices, gyms, and pools.
We were informed from the beginning that the pools were out of service due to damage from the last hurricane, which was understandable. However, the pools had not been maintained at all; the water in all three was green, full of algae and mold, which was very unpleasant. While rainwater may affect the outdoor pool, this could easily be prevented with a tarp cover. The indoor pools, which do not receive rainwater, could have simply been emptied to prevent algae and mold buildup.
Overall, while the room was good, the building is in a depressing state, reminiscent of the pandemic period. Also, do not be misled by the photos on Google Maps—the place no longer looks like that.
Room is okay as it has a nice view, though our AC was out. The hotel itself if musty, outdated, and out of order, but front desk was very kind. Our first night, we arrived and there was a river of human pee in the elevator. The pools and hot tub are closed, sitting with stagnant water. The bar is closed as well, so all amenities are inaccessible and it was not disclosed to us when we booked. (Pools, hot tub, bar, parking garage have been closed for 2 YEARS) We turned 21 during this trip and the tiki bar was a huge selling point for us, so we're very disappointed. This hotel is advertised as beach front and while the hotel itself does sit on the beach, guests have to walk all the way around the building and parking garage, through a long parking lot to the beach. None of this was disclosed. The majority of the hotel parking lot is a tow-away zone (maybe 15 parking spots that are not) so we had to park in a completely different parking lot also. In total, this stay has been completely disappointing and stressful. Would not recommend to anyone who wants to have a smooth and peaceful experience.
I stayed here two weeks. Keep in mind these are private condos. So the people who run the building aren't obligated to bring you towels or any sort of room service. You're not renting from them, you're renting from the owner of the condo.
It was exactly what I needed for my stay. Cold A/C and very nice modern interior. The condo was very small but that wasn't an issue for me because it was nice and clean and had fluffy carpet and a comfortable bed. And you can't really beat the location, it's right on the beach.
The pools are closed though. I'm not going to downgrade it for that because it was apparently due to a hurricane in like 2022, a lot of hotel pools beachside are closed in Daytona for the same reason. It's annoying but not their fault.
I also like my privacy, and honestly, when I'm at the beach I frequently just neglect to wear a shirt going in and out of the lobby. Everyone was totally cool, left me alone. Which was perfect. And nobody harassed me about my service dog either.
So what would I have to complain about?
5star condo. No pools no buffet no exercise center no arcade, nothing. EVERYTHING must have been washed out in the previous hurricanes . Still full price with no amenities. Could be a nice place if the $$ was invested..Seems investors want the place and are waiting for the owners to fold.
We have been coming here for more than 2 decades. We loved it here. However, this will be our last stay at DBR. The property is not even close to being what it was. The amenities should be fixed by now. Some parts of the resort still look the same as last year. Trash everywhere. The halls smell like rotten seafood. The parking garage is still closed even before the hurricanes 2 years ago. Definitely don't waste your money here.No front desk staff after 8pm. The host this hear we rented from has a lock box on the AC. She's clearly not from Florida since she thinks it acceptable to have the AC on 73... overall this visit 0 out of 10
WORST STAY EVER!!! - Like Abandoned Resort
First off, FALSE advertising! This place shouldn’t be called resort anymore as it’s not even close to being what it was. DON'T stay here unless you want to ruin your family’s vacation. We’ve been coming here for years and always loved it, however, this will be our last stay at DBR. NO POOLS or amenities at all, no beach access unless you walk down the block to get to the beach with all your needed essentials (chairs, coolers, surfing boards, etc.). Our view looking down from balcony Rm 712 was pools filled with dirty green puddles. Host (Renata) didn’t disclose that there were no pools, amenities or beach access until AFTER we booked; a little warning and honesty would have been nice. This resort looks like an abandoned hotel, musty smelly, depressing. The room was just ok (bath rugs looked dirty & towels old). Definitely false advertising! Not sure how condo and resort owners can get away with scamming honest people and ruining family vacations!!! Don't stay here you'll definitely be disappointed.
This place is a $4it hole. Do not stay here. If it is the only place that you can afford, stay home. We screwed up. We will never stay here again. It is nasty, smelly, and disgusting. The pools are all out and have been for years. I asked the guy at the front desk when they were getting fixed and he said they don’t have the money to fix them. Odd, seems insurance would have paid on that. Who would be dumb enough to own a resort on the beach without hurricane insurance? Anyhow, the parking sucks, you can’t access the beach, and to be honest every time I got on the elevator I prayed because it didn’t seem like it was going to make it. Again, don’t stay here. Stay anywhere else.
I stayed in a condo through this resort and the condo was nice with a great view. However, not a single amenity is open (outdoor and indoor pool, bar). Beach access from the pool is closed and people were jumping over the ledge to get to the beach, since there is no access from the south lot. The beach access now is to the right of the building when you exit, however that is not very obvious. Two of the elevators were out of service throughout our stay. However, staff were incredibly friendly and they did a good job at keeping the place clean.

Sadly we didn't have the pool this year like normal due to the hurricane damage from last year. But the walk to the beach wasn't bad and we could drive and park near the entrance. Anyways, we've been coming here for 5yrs now.. I love the place. Great
I was at Daytona Resort & Club visiting a friend that has a timeshare with his parents and himself. The condo seemed pretty nice and the jacuzzi was perfect with the cold weather that Daytona was experience.
This place is the best. If you have kids they can play in the courtyard. Where else can you play in luxurious grass right by the ocean. We were here the week of Halloween in unit 12. We carved pumpkins and put them outside our door. We flew kites. No
One may recall the story of Alice in Wonderland. It depicts a young lady who saw very unusual things: large was small, small was large, and all sorts of distortions were recorded. This is the case with Seven Seas.

Staying in a studio. Very large open room with large windows facing the ocean. Light and airy. One minor maintenance issue. They were there within 5 minutes and had it done within 10 minutes. Staff is very friendly.
I had a great time while staying here in room 902. When we arrived Ms. Lori made us feel welcomed. The concierge set us up for a time share presentation, which we enjoyed but decided not to proceed with it. For our time we get a free prize, like a cr
