Days Inn by Wyndham Winston Salem North - Hotel in Winston-Salem - 5218 Germanton Rd, USA

The room was somewhat clean with the exception of someone's sock on the floor by the nightstand. Parking was a little frustrating because half the rooms are on the back of the building and only parking is on the front. Walking through the breezeways there was a strong smell of marijuana but the room didn't smell like it. Smart TV was not available and the channels were difficult to navigate.

The room just felt "icky". It was clean enough, I guess. The pillows and bed were comfortable. We were only given two towels and when we asked for additional towels the man at the counter gave us a hard time about it. He let us have two more, but he was reluctant to do so. We stayed in June and the pool was closed. We were told they were waiting for an inspection from the Health Department.

We booked a 2 bedroom room and received a one bedroom. The bed was only a full size and we had 2 adults and a baby trying to sleep in the small bed. It wasn’t very clean either. We’re pretty sure there were blood stains on the carpet and there was a used soap bar left in the bathtub.

Everything was lacking. My front door was broken, room was filthy with dirty flooring and stain on the bed. AC felt as if an elderly person was breathing on me in 90+ weather, and I could barely sleep at night due to the loudness of other guests or whoever was roaming around at night. Not a very inviting place. I definitely will not recommend to anyone or be going back.

It's not a bad place. But the lady at the front desk was so unsettling. It's like she didn't even won't to service me. Always book before you come. Because if they see you booking right infront of them. They lie and say there are no rooms available online. I went outside with my key return my room and couldn't find my key. I thought I had left it in my room. But couldn't find it anywhere. I never had this happen to me. I ask for another key. And she said it's a $5.00 deposit. I guess that something knew. Be very careful. Because things go missing here. Oh yeah I left my debt card on the counter. Came back she closed the office early then usually and I didn't see my debt card. I was looking around for it through the door and she didn't even say. Hey it's here I have it. She knew very well it was my card . I had to approach her about it. The room is finally booked after repeatedly trying booking a deal online . But look at this there are holes in the room and the tub is broken. But most of all I didn't like her attitude.

Positive: "" Negative: Old cigarettes in the air vents and roaches every where, especially if I turned off the lights. Blood on the floor coming out the bathroom and in the bathroom on the wall looked as if someone blew their nose and left it on the wall. So disgusting

Positive: It was on my way to where I was going next. Negative: I can put up with a lot, but my lord, the code violations going on with this room. Exposed wires, holes punched out of the walls, rust stains in the sink and tub, mold everywhere. Just god awful. Staff was nice enough.

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel last night and it was awful. We were put in a back room and as soon as we walked in the room, there was a stench of old cigarettes and Filth. The lighting in the room was yellow and made it seem as though the room had not been cleaned in months were holes patched up in the wall that had not been painted over the air condition did not work and the bed was nasty. We checked for bedbugs just to make sure. in there was black mold on the ceiling and the bottom of the shower was also filthy. We are glad we only wanted to stay for one night.
