My daughter and I traveled to Napoleon for a Water Polo tournament. All their hotels were sold out, so we stayed at this Days Inn about 15 mins away. ||The hotel is very old and outdated. When we walked into the motel room is was moldy and musty smelling. The plug in AC unit was powered off and that smell disappeared after an hour or so of the AC circulating air. ||Our mattress had a large blood stain on the side of it. (Larger than my hand). I did mention this on the text they sent me asking how my check in and stay was.. But they never responded. I did go to the front desk and mention it to the lady as well. She was disgusted at the photo I showed her and was very kind stating she would relay the info to her manager and they should discount our stay a little. (Nobody every contacted me) Which is fine. We stayed there but I wouldn't ever stay again. Nor would I recommend it. ||There was an ashtray on all the windowsills outside. The one out front of our room was FILLED with cigarette butts (Apparently housekeeping doesn't dump the ashtrays) and the aroma of stale cigarettes lingered. People next to us were smoking marijuana. If you are sensitive to smells, this isn't your place. We also walked to the pool but I didn't get in due to rocks, dirt and leaves all through it. You could tell upkeep had not been done.||Overall it didn't feel safe to me to walk to the ice machine a few doors down after dark as people were lingering outside in groups around their cars. ||Breakfast was minimal for a continental breakfast. It consisted of toast, a premade egg omelette with a cheese slice inside, sausage links, yogurt, cereal or a premade package of pancakes you can heat up. Better than nothing for sure, but the smallest continental breakfast I've ever seen. ||The one positive thing I can say is that I didn't see any bugs.
Conveniently located beside the Interstate, it provided us with a clean room and comfortable beds. The lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful. This is a motel so you can park in front of your room. Our room was quiet and comfortable. Our only issue was that there were at least 6 flies in our room that probably came in when housekeeping left the door open, as they usually do. Chased them around with a towel until we killed them all. I would stay here again, and their price was good even with a fair going on just across the interstate from them, creating a demand for their rooms.
We stopped in for one night on a long multi-day cross country move. Staff was very kind. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was exactly what we needed before hitting the road. Hoping the rest of our stops can be as nice! Recommend booking through Expedia - price difference was $70 between what I was quoted on the phone and found online, just a heads up.
Recently renovated, room was clean and spacious and smelled new. Pool is nice and free breakfast is better than average. They have a pancake making machine which is nice. Right off the interstate, good location. Free internet is fast and easy, unlike other places that make you sign in and then the speed is so slow, it's unusable. Recommend this place and will be back.
Reservation checkin was 10/10. |Room was nice. Quiet restful night. :-)|Breakfast was nice as well. We were assured that someone would be on the desk at any time should we have a need.|Room was more spacious than many others of the same general name brand. |If we are through here again, this is where we will stay!
Welcome check in W/Tracy She was very pleasant & helpful. The exit/entrance ramps are closed for construction so just follow he signs. Tracy even wrote a note for me on exiting on departure. All worked out OK. The Inn was neat, clean & quiet. The blue Ribbon diner sets right across the road. All my rest needs were satisfied. I would definitely stay here again.
We stay at the Days Inn Wauseon for 4 days during an antique motorcycle swap meet. This hotel is family owned and is not your typical chain. The staff is amazing and managed to keep the entire hotel running smoothly with the invasion of 300 people attending the meet. The beds are comfortable, along with the pillows. Rooms are clean and the pool is immaculate. We will continue to stay at the Days Inn Wauseon for the next year's meet and consecutive years.
Stayed in room 103. Staff is wonderful. Tracey in particular was a doll. Room was clean. Beds was comfy. Pool is in the center of all the units. So cute. And we got to park right outside our room. Pet friendly and convenient. Bathroom can use some updating but everything worked fine. I will say this location and stay again when we travel west. Thank you
My sister and I had a lunch while working on a workbook together here. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. We sat in the back and the lighting was not too dim but not bright at all. There were others sipping their drinks and eating without interrup
Great Mexican food. Reasonable prices. Generous portions. I randomly stopped here traveling through the area. The nachos I got were unique, called Azteca Nachos. Zucchini, Mushroom, diced Red Onions and tomatoes on top of the usual mixed protein
This was our first time eating here. They have an extensive menu. Something for just about every taste. The prices weren't terrible, so it was easy to treat the whole family. The workers are very efficient. We didn't have to wait long for our ice cre
We dined inside on Veteran's Day when Veterans received a free meal, so the restaurant was busy. That did not affect the quality of service or food we received. Everything tasted wonderful: my husband ordered a mushroom and Swiss burger with fries a
This place is really big and it was packed when I got lunch there. The Beef Manhattan was excellent... Update 6/26/2023 I stopped on a Monday for lunch, and I ordered the Hot Turkey sandwich along with a cup of soup. The soup was delicious, and y
