Days Inn by Wyndham St Peters/St Charles - Hotel in St Peters - 130 Salt Lick Rd, USA

Comfortable and clean. You can tell management is putting money back into the place as they have it. Close to family so I’ve stayed here many times. The hotel is dated, but they are making improvements. The parking lot was recently replaced and it makes a big difference. The beds are always comfortable and clean. The location while quiet is right off the interstate and easy to get to. Felt safe during stay. Pricing is very reasonable for stay. The owners are very motorcycle friendly and allow bikers to park our motorcycles under the front door awning. Especially helpful in rainy conditions. The rooms aren’t fancy but they are clean and have a mini fridge to store beverages and simple grocery/leftovers. Their breakfast is simple but pretty decent. The staff is always friendly.

Comfortable, but in need of updates. Dated, but comfortable. Bed comfortable and clean. Quiet. Could use a remodel. Felt safe during stay. Easily accessible, except for road construction. Pricing was reasonable for stay. Stairs needed some help from housekeeping.

Right when you walk in, it smells like cigarette smoke. There is no elevator. Our room was very dingy. Lock on door was broken. Carpet and furniture are stained. Walls are dirty. Air conditioning was on full blast but did not work or cool down the room whatsoever. Hair found in bed. Toilet did not flush. Overall super icky and would not refund for leaving the hotel and checking out 1 hour after checking in (because of the disgust we did not want to stay there anymore and did not feel safe).

Ernest the front desk attendant, very nice,very professional,and a snappy dresser. The room was clean, and pretty nice for the price... and who doesn't like a waffle for breakfast.

My son and I checked in at about 7 pm. There was a drunk man just outside the main entrance smoking. So drunk he couldn't even stand. There was a shirtless man bbqing in the parking lot. We checked in and our room key wouldn't work. We had to walk back down stairs (I don't think there was an elevator, but honestly not sure). We got the room key fixed, and went into the room. It was 86 degrees in the room and so humid the floors felt damp. It took an hour to cool down. The door lock was broken. The fridge was unplugged, so we had nowhere to put our cold food. The exhaust fan was broken and hanging from the bathroom ceiling. The pillows and sheets were stained. The breakfast was underwhelming. The juice machine was broken, so there was no drink options for the kids.

The rooms weren't very clean, front desk guy was rude, they rush you out before check out time by calling your room and knocking on your door. Breakfast not good. No coffee no juice..out of order. The location was good, next to a really good Mexican restaurant.

Passing through St. Peter’s we needed an economical place to stay for one night. I guess I need to adjust my way of thinking such that economical = rundown, grubby/shabby. |The good: |Convenient|Cheap|Easy check in| |The bad/disgusting/depressing:|Grubby lobby with dusty fading outdated draperies (just take them down!) and dusty faux ficus (chuck ‘em) ||The room was spacious but I was dubious as to if the sheets had actually been changed since the last guest (we brought our sleeping bags in) a suspicion that was confirmed this morning when I showered and found the towel to be stained with the last persons makeup on it, refolded and put on the rack. ||Breakfast was a sad affair with stale pastries but the coffee was good.

The staff are rude. A previous guest smoked in the room so it stunk like cigarettes. Furniture was stained, a arm on one of the chairs was broken. There is mold in the bathroom. The blankets were to small for the bed. The door didn't lock properly. It is disgusting. When we said something at checkout we were told management won't change anything so it does no good to complain
