Days Inn by Wyndham San Jose Airport - Hotel in Milpitas - 270 S Abbott Ave, USA

Called for an hour trying to reach the front desk between 10am to 11am found the person sleeping in the chair behind the counter. Rooms are a good size but tv doesn’t work and room doesn’t get turned over if they see you are staying. 3:05pm and still no turnover service. Most front desk staff are nice, the guy that was sleeping Sunday is unhelpful with his responses. Pool is a nice addition but they have rules in place but again no one enforces. People take food too the rooms even with the postings everywhere, pool area people bringing food and glass while watching kids. I would give this location a C rating after being here for 2 weeks until my apartment was ready.

Rooms are good, management is great, front desk is good, location is awesome. Couldn't get housekeeping to refill body soap 2 days in a row, or get housekeeping to clean room. A little lazy. Hope that department improves, very lacking.

Positive: Quick access to the highway and safe area. I didn?t have any negative interactions. There is a Walgreens in the adjoining parking lot which was amazing. For a value hotel this is about average. Don?t expect a Hilton, but also don?t expect a roach motel. Negative: Breakfast was all over the place each day, don?t expect the same thing every day, but also it?s mostly pre packaged bagels and pasterts.

You get what you pay for. Convenient, very clean, service was good upon check in. Rooms are nice. There is a Walgreens and Straw hat pizza in the same Parking lot.

Terrible toxic air pollution filled the hotel every day. It was claimed by a staff member to be an industrial operation by the ocean, but this was likely a misdirection as nowhere else in the Bay Area was this noticed on the trip. Caused terrible headaches and allergic reactions for hours each day. The elevator was barely functioning and constantly smelled of body odor. After booking through a site entirely non-refundable, I could not get into my room. As the hotel refused because “someone had forgotten” to include an extra service fee as part of their room listing for each day. So my room was held at ransom until I forked over the cash. Outside of all the other issues mentioned, there’s a scummy atmosphere about the place and staff indicating general lack of moral business practices.

Overall stay was quite okay. Relatively spacious for King size room with microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker and a small couch. Simple breakfast was provided (packed food items). Lots of food/restaurants around the hotel and across the street. Walgreen right in front of the hotel.

The property is trashy and dirty, look so run down. There is not breakfast, just a few snacks out. The elevator smells like pee and is scary to ride. Do not recommend.

Stayed here for two hours. Bedsheets stained with tomato sauce, lights flickering, black mold surrounding air conditioner, and… no towels. I returned the keys and checked out. Desk person said they’d charge one night. They charged four.
