Days Inn by Wyndham Rolla - Hotel in Rolla - 2006 N Bishop Ave, USA

Supposed to be non smoking rooms, but clearly people were smoking heavily in their rooms. It really triggered our allergies. The bed was probably the best bed I've slept in forever. The shower could be cleaner, there was mold in a few places.. The lobby was nice and clean, unfortunately their coffee machine was broken.

My husband just stayed the night last night! Upon returning to his room, his key and several other keys would not open the door! Between the manager and night clerk they were unable to open his door. He had to stay in a different room, with none of his belongings! When he arose this morning, he went down there to ask the clerk on duty what the status was. She was very rude and degrading. First of all, she was unaware of it, and then when she did become aware of it she just said OK they’ll call you. So hour and a half later, when my husband comes back down… Who is late for work and also supposed to be driving home to Tennessee, he asked for the status of getting his belongings out! again she said “when they have time they’ll get to you.” The lady at the front desk was very rude and degrading. When my husband called me and let me know of the situation, I called and tried to speak with the manager. This female clerk answered the phone, I told her I wanted to speak with the manager, and she asked me what it was about. I told her it was between me and the manager, and this was her response! She told me” that is not how it works! You tell me what the issue is, I get your name and number, I put it on a sticky note and then the manager may decide to call you back when they come in” Because I would not tell her the exact situation ( I did tell her it was about my husband and gave her his name ) she got very rude with me and then hung up on me! My husband has said that the manager was helpful, the owner was helpful. They finally had to find some type of machine that you could put underneath the door to unlock the door. Problem is, he is now five hours late in leaving to drive home. He doesn’t even know if his room got comped just because the fact he left and did not want to deal and speak with that young lady working at the front desk!!

Rooms were clean. Hotel in general was clean. Beds and pillows were comfy. They actually have hot breakfast (sausage, eggs) unlike a lot of hotels these days. Didn’t get cleaning service first few days, made a comment to front desk and it was cleaned the following morning. Pool needs cleaned. Staff was very friendly and good at their jobs

Positive: Updated to modern standards. Breakfest looked nice (I just didn't eat anything). Clean. Friendly staff. Negative: Weird parking lot...you basically had to drive through another lot to get to it. Not a deal breaker

Beds are super comfy. Pillows are plump not flat. Air conditioning will freeze you out if you want. Breakfast great! I stay here at least once a year and I am never disappointed. 🙂

To start things out, this hotel was a breath of fresh air compared to where we stayed at the night before, so I was immediately happy pulling up, going in and getting a nice HELLO. I was confused about some of the other reviews I had seen on Google here about this hotel. It was VERY CLEAN, sure a few small things, but those are personal preferences, that I don't think would hurt or help this review for you. We had plenty of parking spots especially where I could see my truck, ended up not looking once. It was a very non threatening atmosphere, and my ice cold AC kept me nice and cold and refreshed. All and all I have it a 5 star stay, om extremely happy with my stay here and making the reservation on booking I got it for a great rate. Thank you DAYS INN!!

Maybe the best days inn i have visited..modern and clean room. Has the good set up in the shower with soap and stuff. Didn't try the breakfast but looked decent. Fair price for room.

Needs more detail to cleaning, corners in the bathroom are gross, filters on AC were filthy, pool had a bunch of bugs and the bottom had a lot of dirt, had to use the net before I could swim. The floor in our room had what I think was cat liter all over it. Chair had what looked like cat damage. I had swiffers mop heads in the truck, and you can see what happened, and that wasn't the whole room. There was a dog next door that would not shut up. We could hear him better in our room than in the hallway. Complain twice, nothing. Real small fridge, no freezer area. 100 dollars a night, you expect better.
