Days Inn by Wyndham Richmond - Hotel in Richmond - 2109 Belmont Dr, USA

Zero. Absolute. Did not honor reservation. We had a king room paid for and reserved. Was told the people in that room just decided to stay another night although we had already reserved a week prior. Expected us to take any other room without guarantee of reimbursement. Do not trust pictures you see on the site. Area looked dangerous after waiting in parking lot for 45 minutes trying to figure out another place to stay, we witnessed alot of nefarious actions going in and out of motel. So in retrospect it's a good thing we did not stay. Do not waste your time.

Positive: the friendly staff and location; and the nice hard bed with good AC. We did have to wash the AC filters though; filthy; no telling when last changed. Negative: the water pressure is terrible; and we ran out of hot water so decided against a morning shower. You also need to raise the curtain length so they do not suck up the AC. Even sim ut was a great deal for a short stay. I would do it again.

To save yall from the headache, DO NOT stay at Days INN in Richmond 🤦‍♀️ One night was $56 & they charged me $86, It was raining & the rain was coming in under the door & the ceiling was leaking !! Our room flooded, so they gave us a arm load of towels to soak up the water. Sooo short story they need to be shut down 😡 (ig i won't mention the mold smell)

PLEASE USE THIS AS YOUR GUIDE! Do not go here If your not staying for 1 or 2 nights. Room had so much water damage it reaked of mildew and mold, my nose and sinuses instantly stuffed up walking in and had the worst night of sleep in forever. Sketchy people all around, 2nd night there was yelled at by someone else that worried me so bad I almost ran back to my room. Girlfriend had to wipe down the whole place just to feel comfortable touching anything and never touched the shower with how bad the water pressure was and how gloomy it looked, the rag she used was black and brown after she was done. (Imagine a depressing movie motel, exactly this place) Stains and burn holes in sheets and blankets and saw 2 spiders in the 3 times I was in the room. Stunk of cigarettes. (has a no smoking rule but been ignored by everyone) we stayed in room 104 so if you get this room change immediately. And if I knew how they stored MY CASH DEPOSIT I would not have trusted them with my money, stored in a envelope within an Amazon bubble wrap package in the second drawer down of the front office. Literally not protected or in a safe or anything. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEEE DO NOT SAY HERE MORE THAN A 1 NIGHT STOPPING POINT!!

The owner bor manager needs |to give the Afternoon Front Desk Lady a raise! She is Five stars employee. | I stopped at this Days Inn| (owned by Wyndham at Richmond,Kentucky) because it was the first motel I came to on the Interstate 75 exit there. |I stopped because it was pouring rain,while I was driving to my home in North Carolina. |The Days Inn motel chain I have always considered a fairly good motel. But it had been many years since I had been to a actual Days Inn and at least ( if I remember correctly) at least 10 years since I had been at a Wyndham motel in Parkersburg or Vienna,West Virginia, for my mother-in-law's funeral. |My motel room was worn and old looking that I was in, so I can't say all the rooms looked like that. And I think they were actually filled up but the front desk lady employee found me one that she said they were re-modeling. She said they were not finished with it yet. Other than the smell of paint(there was a splotch of dried paint on the side of the toilet). I could of made them a list of things that needed to replaced, and hopefully they will include my suggestions starting with a new lamp for the desk, and there was not a lamp on the night table, so they need to buy one for that too, And a new colorful bedspread would have looked nice in there as there, as there is absolutely no color in the room at all, and I am not color blind. |I use to watch Anthony ____ on the Cable Learning Channel. He was a professional renovator of motels and hotels and I learned alot of things to look for in a motel room,as to whether it was good room to stay in or not. |There was a little refrigerator and microwave , but I don't know if they were clean inside or if they worked, as I didn't use them. |There were plenty of white towels, but one of them in the bathroom had stains on it. Whoever is in charge of washing them, didn't use a stain remover on it . And bleach alone doesn't take out red stains from ketchup,barbecue, or blood. I know, because I have had many of those type of stains and I have had to use special stain remover to get the stain completely out. |So I took that one back to the front desk lady. There were still plenty of other ones. |It had a bathtub but I didn't use it, and didn't notice if it had a shower head or shower curtain, as I have attention deficit disorder, and over focus, so I was just looking at the toilet as that was all I needed the two times I was in the bathroom. |In my cooler I had a quart of frozen yogurt that I needed to keep frozen, so I asked the front desk lady if they had a freezer and she said yes, and said she would put it in the freezer which she so graciously dod for me, and I really appreciated it. I was thrilled that it wasn't going to melt, before I got to eat it at home, as we don't have it where I live. |The front desk lady went above and beyond to give me a room ss I think they were booked solid. So that is why I got that room that was still being re-done. |Hopefully, when it is re-done next week it will have a phone in the room and possibly a colorful bedspread and window curtain and the paint gets removed from the toilet. |The front desk lady is the reason I would stay there again as she has a beautiful, kind,and generous personality and went out of her way to accommodate me yesterday afternoon( she apparently works the day shift. At least she was working around 5:00 p.m. when I needed a room. |The morning front desk man employee, was helpful too, in showing how to use the ice machine, as it was different than ones I had used in other motels before. He also retrieved my frozen butter pecan yogurt from the freezer for me also. |So this motel has great employees , the owner just needs to put more money into making ALL of the rooms pleasant looking to their guests and everything functioning well.

Disgusting! Our lights didn’t work, holes all over the walls, smelled like mold. Very uneasy and left immediately after seeing the room! The front desk guy was nice about it..

This place is trash. AC was broken, the room smelled like a damp basement. There were stains all over the bed, linens, chair, curtains, and floor. The bathroom light did not work. We just left and found another place to stay.

The night clerk went out of her way to make our stay great. Breakfast was good. I wish we had stayed here a week earlier instead of an econolodge down the expressway.
