Days Inn by Wyndham Renfro Valley Mount Vernon - Hotel in Mt Vernon - 1630 Richmond St, USA

Room was well worth it for the price charged. Stopped in for a quick overnight while traveling with my dogs. Charged a very reasonable $25 pet fee. Room was comfortable and they put us in a room on the backside, so it was a bit quieter for the dogs. They’re definitely in renovation mode, but as I mentioned well worth the cost for the convenience of taking my dogs. My only complaint was that there wasn’t really a grassy area on the backside for the dogs to relieve themselves. The entire parking lot was surrounded by fencing, so you couldn’t easily get to a grass area.

Upon entering the office I was promptly greeted by “Joey” who confirmed my reservations and assigned my room. He was pleasant and professional. My room was clean and fresh, had been recently updated and remodeled and has a very comfortable mattress and quality sheets and bedding. I was very pleased with everything about my stay at this location and would not hessite to return.

Excellent customer service. Very pet friendly; even when he barked we didn't get any complaints. Room was clean and they came in and cleaned about every other day during our week stay. Within walking distance of a Mexican restaurant, Arby's, and a gas station. Very quiet location but also convenient. They even have a safe in the room and a coke vending machine on site.

The signage above (high sign for highway visibility) and the roadway visible sign, were not of Days Inn. I believe this has recently been acquired by Days Inn and it seems to be in the process of remodeling, although our room had been done already. It had fresh paint and was tidy and clean. They did forget to remove the painters tape after painting the wall (where the headboard of the bed is) however it's the same color of the background and seems to be barely noticeable. The air unit is older, but very effective. It cooled the room down quickly! The bathroom was adequate, however perhaps a tad extra elbow grease could be used on the tub. It wasn't dirty, but past grime that can eventually be scrubbed off with a little extra effort. The toilet seems to run water every so often through the night, though the handle was okay and the stopper sealed. The front check in was closed and there was a room near the guest rooms that had a small office set up for check in. I assume they are remodeling the check in area. The breakfast area was also beside check in, possibly in an old guest room or two, but when we went for breakfast it was closed due to electrical issues in that area. (Although they are advertising breakfast online ..it may be just a fluke happening) Over all, it was very adequate for a one night, midway through our trip stay. Clean rooms, friendly staff. I would stay here again. I'm sure once the new management gets more settled things will improve even more. I can tell they've been revamping it.

This hotel is located in a small and quiet country town. Rooms are remodeled and very clean, well priced, and have a Mexican restaurant on the same plaza. I would recommend to anyone needing a safe and calm place to stay for the night.

Front desk employee was awesome, we were on a motorcycle and she offered us a first floor room to keep an eye on our bike. Thank you. Room was clean and bed comfortable, water was hot and fresh smelling. Nice big TV and fast wifi 😁. The AC was a little off, only got real cold if once it turned off you had to turn it on continuously fan mode then after 10 min turn it back to AC again

Positive: Cost. No large fees added on after I selected it. Negative: The toilet was running when I went into the room. I had to adjust the flapper every time I went to the restroom. I told the staff, I could deal with it overnight, but they need to fix it.

Positive: Everything Negative: Not real happy with Your personnel that's head of the laundry room.. Stands at the front complaining a lot not very nice to the other workers.. Maybe needs to not wear her authority on her sleeve... Lead by example.. Other than that, Great
