I wish they had done a better job cleaning that place. The carpet in the common area, the room and chair were disgusting and filthy. The elevator always dirty. Guest smoke in the hallway. My room were just across the elevator, the cigarette smoke get into the room, Roaches were crawling in the room; when I informed the front desk employee I want to move to another room, he became irritated. But he gave me another room. The lamp chargers didn't work; the room only had one working outlet, so I had to disconnect the lamps to charge my electronics. One night I phoned the front desk regarding a water leak on the ceiling; he was OK, thank you, and that was it. The second time that happen, the housekeeper were in adjacent room, I told her about the leak, she simply said sometime that happen and gave me two pieces of rags to wipe the floor. The so-called breakfast were coffee, slice bread and instant oatmeal every day. Days Inn is not a hotel; rather, it is an over-priced motel. I blame those internet third-party vendors: Priceline and Kayak and all the others. I blame online third-party providers such as Priceline, Kayak, Expedia, Tripadvisor, etc., for allowing hotels/motels to collect consumers' money without providing them with any recourse in the event of subpar service. I get very little value for the money. Overall, most the house keepers were friendly.

We will not be back! The only thing this place has going for it is the location. The staff was friendly enough but loud in the hallways. No one at the front desk when we arrived. No bell to ring. Looked like mold growing up by the ceiling. We finally got checked in (surprised by an $50 deposit to stay) and went off to our room. The door did not look very secure. There was a gab and you could see light. We enter and it was very humid and stinky. The air was off. Very very dated room. Floor lamp was rusty. Outlets didn’t hold plugs. The remote battery cover wouldn’t stay on. Tv was fuzzy. Barely any internet. Bathroom was a closet. Toilet and tub but no room to dress / undress. Shared room. Water would sputter and go cold before warm again. Sink is located in the room. We went to use the coffee maker and found a nip bottle of vodka in the water reservoir. Needless to say, the coffee maker did not work and overflowed. Curtain was falling off the window. Not safe feeling in the parking lot. My daughter pulled in to the overflow lot because of the amount of cars. As she sat for a moment collecting her things, a car pulled next to her in the empty lot . They sat with their door cracked open not getting out. Looking at her. She refused to get out. They finally pulled away like a maniac. Weed smell everywhere although the hotel emphatically said that there is no smoking tolerated. One and done. Stay somewhere else.

I have NEVER stayed in a hotel WITHOUT a phone in my room. This was a first. Maintenance and cleanliness of the room were shoddy. A/C platform was all torn up, shower ceiling and walls had mold/mildew; microwave was dirty, bedspread had a burn hole in it, no facial tissues, bug in the bathroom, breakfast was really poor. Elevator and hallway smelled as if someone was smoking weed in a completely non-smoking hotel.

We were with a large group attending a local event. Greeted with a welcome snack bag. Staff was kind and courteous. The room is getting dated and needs updating. But clean and Bed was soft and comfortable.

The front desk staff is nice but the property is in desperate need of updates. The furniture is tattered and the outlets won't hold a plug. No drain stopper in the sink. Slow Wi-Fi. Carpet was dirty but the bedding looked okay. Not terrible, but not worth $140.

OMGGGGG the worst place, First time I EVER BEEN IN THIS HOTEL... ITS TRASH ... Sorry..but need to be honest.... Ohhh n the breakfast!!!! SMH.. sad toast. N no butter or jelly no coffee the guy in the front desk,said sorry, I'll give you the packet n you do it in your room ........ WOW....... NO BREAKFAST AT ALL......

The room was very nice, the staff friendly and very helpful. The location was perfect for our visit to the Reading WWII Warbird Weekend. However, the website we read said there was breakfast included, coffee, juice, fruit and maybe oatmeal is not breakfast.

I entered the lobby a little past 3 pm, which is technically the check-in time. There was absolutely no one behind the desk, and no bell to ring either. So I went and sat down on the lobby couch. After about 5 min, a man came out behind his desk staring at me the whole time but did not greet me once. He had his phone in shooting position for video, and he was aiming it somewhat towards me, so I didnt know what he was doing and whether he was filming me. As I walk over I asked him if he was filming me and he said no, he was filming his computer. This rude, strange man turns out to be their front desk agent. (I also later noticed there are no surveillance camera's anywhere on the property which is weird for a hotel). I then received an unpleasant surprise during check-in when a $50 incidental deposit was requested. Nowhere in the booking did it state that a deposit was required. When I asked the receptionist behind the counter why this was not made known to me in advance, he did not have a good answer. The reservation was apparently processed directly via the daysinn site, he even admitted that. And yet this was not made clear to me in advance. I didn't have a problem with paying the $50 or the principle behind paying a deposit, but I did have a problem with the fact that it was asked somewhat in a shady way. My biggest argument was that someone could have possibly come to the hotel without the $50 because they didn't know about it. The clerk said if someone didn't pay the $50 they would be turned away. I then said that no one comes all the way to a hotel to be turned away, that that is not nice, and the receptionist responded by saying "we turn people away all the time". In addition, he said that the $50 incidentals deposit will become $100 in July. The room had no hot water for most of the day, only for about 5 minutes very late at night and the toilet did not flush like the first 5 times, and then very weakly and moderately, where you had to use a very precise amount of force and pressing time on the flush handle to make it work. The tub had yellow markings near the drain hole like rust or paint. The bathroom floor had chipped tile and one outlet in the room was wobbly. I was not bothered by other guests or noise, but the breakfast was very meager and poor. The room came with only one bar of soap. The location is great, with all kinds of shops and businesses within walking distance, and I could easily get items delivered from Walmart. So that's another plus. Apparently this hotel is as 'poor' as the clientele it tries to serve.
