Days Inn by Wyndham Queensbury/Lake George - Hotel in Queensbury - 24 Big Boom Rd, USA

We stayed here 5 years ago (before the covid pandemic), so we were personally familiar with this property. It is an older establishment, but still delivers the necessities (i.e. comfort, cleanliness, and privacy), but don’t expect a lot of frills. It is conveniently located right off the expressway exit. The staff were friendly and helpful. The complimentary continental breakfast was spartan but of good quality. They do have a couple onsite charging stations for EVs. ||It fit the bill for our two-night stay in Glens Falls and was the least expensive motel/hotel option when we were shopping for accommodations.

Hotel was a hot mess. The smell of urine was overpowering to the point of gagging upon entering the room. The mattresses had more brown stains than clean. The refrigerator was leaking and contained old food. There was old underwear on the floor still. I swept up more public hair than I would care to discuss. Then to be denied a refund while staring at a pallet of bed bug fumigation cans in the main office was the last straw. I am an understanding person when it comes to most things but for your own health steer clear of this establishment.

Budget/dirty hotel. Spend more to stay elsewhere. Sheets were dirty, there was no blankets on the bed. Only a sheet and a thin decorative sheet. There was hair, fur and dirt on the sheets. We didn't feel comfortable sleeping under the sheets, so my husband and I shared a throw blanket we had for traveling. Thankfully the kids each had a blanket of their own. Found a tuft of hair behind the sink faucet. Bumped the towel rack with my hand and it fell off the wall. In the morning I went to the desk to ask for more towels (we had 2) and the guy wasn't sure what to do. He said housekeeping would be in and could get us some. It was 9:20, check out at 11 and I had to wait for them to bring us towels. We had 2 towels for 4 people staying. I was getting coffee and heard him on phone telling someone we needed towels. Overhead him saying, the towels are in the washer? In the dryer? Thankfully they did bring them pretty quickly. But it's odd to have such a response for asking for 2 additional towels. Also the guy had an attitude when we asked for 2 key cards. I wouldn't recommend this place, unless you're ok with a visibly dirty room. The one thing that is nice, is it is right off the highway which is convenient but also somewhat noisy. Shower was hot.

Sheets and pillows & cases smell bad as if they have never been washed after previous guests. Not fresh or clean scent at all. Soap and shampoo are not good. I cannot sleep well for the order is bothering. the worst hotel I have ever stayed. Highway noise is very bad.

I was on my way to Queensbury, NY for a 2 night stay at this hotel when I had an emergency and was 30 mins away from this hotel, had to turn around and go home. I called the hotel and told them what was going on and he was very rude on the phone and said u need to call the number u made the reservations with, so I called them and told them what I was facing and they said we will cancel it for you, then I asked about a refund and they said that they would have to speak to a manager at this hotel, I told them that I called the hotel directly. So after 2 weeks back and forth trying to get some sort of refund.( I wasn't expecting it all back) The manager declined my refund so they kept it all!! Not a happy person right now!!

The pictures online are far from what they actually were. We did not stay. There was pee in the bathroom. Mold in the ac vents, hair on and in the pillows&sheets. Did not seemed to be cleaned at all. Offered a 10% refund which is absolutely nothing.

Almost every aspect of our stay at this property was disappointing. The establishment is a tired, old building with dis-interested staff. There is no pride of ownership of the property evidenced by the collection of litter all around the property. Advertised amenities are not accurate.

Room was filthy. Not cleaned between guest. Did not get room we paid for when booking… bathroom was definitely not cleaned, last guests soap and toothpaste left in shower/sink, hair and dirt in sink, floors were dirty. Spills on door entering and on bed frame. All from previous guests. Do not recommend- photos are after manager told housekeeping to clean our room All the replies to the reviews are “we’re concerned and looking into it” obviously not concerned enough to change the guests experiences even after all the reviews of it being dirty
