Days Inn by Wyndham Pearl/Jackson Airport - Hotel in Pearl - 235 S Pearson Rd, USA

My daughter and I stayed here on a road trip. The staff were helpful getting our reservation corrected to a non smoking room. The room however left a lot to be desired. The sheets were stained and had hairs on them. There were some crumbs on the bed. The bathroom had a couple of flies and cockroaches (3). There were. also at least 2 unidentified bugs in the room. There was also a smell of smoke either in the bed or the pillows. When we had changed rooms (for the smoking room issue)we learned there were none other available so we dealt with it. The price was good but I would not recommend that anyone stay here.

I want to preface this by saying that I don't like leaving negative reviews but this was too much. Searched for a reasonably priced hotel/inn, found a listing for $109 and booked through a 3rd party site. Paid in advance since the reservation was for one night only as we just needed a place to rest on our way to Florida... We arrived around 1130 and after several hours of driving with kids in tow, we were looking forward to a good night's sleep. At check-in, the hostess seemed to struggle with my reservation but would not tell me what the issue was, I offered my card and info but she said it was something to do with the 3rd party site. After about 15 minutes of clickety-clacking and finally getting help from an employee who'd just arrived, she gave me the key so we headed to the room. First thing that hit us was the smell, musty and smoky (despite being a non-smoking room)... I thought "fine! We can deal with the smell" So I used some of my body spray and left the door open while we gathered our things. Next, realized the vanity lights did not work, at all; like not even a flicker to say they JUST went out. "Whatever! We can use the other lights" Get ready for bed and take off my shoes "What the actual h3ll!? the entire carpet is damp" Well, that explains the musty smell... Now, why is it wet and more importantly, why did they even give us this room??? I didn't have the energy, mentally or physically to complain or do anything other than tell my family not to walk around barefoot and to try to sleep so we could GTFO ASAP the next morning...

Chambre sale et vraiment délabrée … On nous précise que les chambres sont non fumeurs et signer un papier comme quoi 250 dollars sont facturés pour remise en état de la chambre . Celle ci était déjà un vrai FUMOIR 🤬 Les draps n’ont pas dû être changés . nous avons fait le choix de ne pas dormir dans cet hôtel. De plus , le lieu ne semblait pas sécuritaire et même glauque

Nasty and run down! Staff is horrible! The lady at the front will tell you anything to get you out of the office. All I wanted was some more towels and got the run around! Your company needs to do better if there's four people coming to a two-bedroom room. Don't you think they need more towels!?? I had to ask for it in the app and then I had to walk down there to tell her the same thing? And she was telling me that I need to bring my own towel next time? That they don't have to give us towels? What am I paying you for?

Non smoking room but reeked of cigarette smoke and weed smell and we could barley lock the door to feel safe….. the tub looks like it has not been scrubbed in ages nasty and had pubic hair all in the tub….. room service started beating on the door at 8:30 an hour later beating on door again got to the door asked who is it no answer before I could unlock door they were trying to open door opened and told them we didn’t need it left and then another hour later someone else is beating on the door again asked who is it no answer trying to open the door opened and asked any dirty towels We were there for 2 nights and the next morning same thing Check out time is 11 shouldn’t have to beat on the door before then!! Price was the only thing good about experience and the front desk was excellent checking in

The sheets were filthy. The phone didn't work after they switched me to a different room. TV didn't work. Light above vanity didn't work. I would have left that night but it was really late and I had to leave early. Moved to different hotel next day. Would give zero!

I wanted to redo or remove my original review (where I think i gave 1 star) but could not find or access it. I gave one star previously because of the experience with the staff etc. But I was surprised that the management cared enough to reach out to me. This experience restored my confidence in Wyndham. They are there to ensure that their customers are treated well and have good stay. That's good enough for me.

The staff were amazing and helpful at check out. The rooms were clean. Close to restaurants, so you could walk instead of drive, if one wanted to.
