My partner and I made a booking through a third-party website, and while we understand the hotel’s policy on cancellation fees, we sought a fair resolution when we faced an issue with our booking. Upon arrival at 1-2 AM on June 8, we were informed by the front desk staff that our reservation's checking time was actually at 3 PM and she aided us in cancelling it. Although we were offered a limited selection of rooms, they were either significantly overpriced or designated as smoking rooms, which did not meet our needs. As a result, we had no choice but to leave and contact the third-party website for assistance. Despite the third party’s efforts to reach out to Days Inn on our behalf, we never received a response for over 2 months. Finally, when we contacted Days Inn for an update on August 14, the manager’s response to our refund request was not only unhelpful but also delivered in an extremely rude manner- cutting us off mid sentence, telling us that it's just the way it is, and quickly ended the phone call. Given that the $150 fee is relatively minor for the hotel, I find it hard to understand why a reasonable resolution could not be reached. We were genuinely seeking a solution that would accommodate our situation. I would advise the management to approach customer service with more empathy and professionalism. We will never be returning here again and PRAY that no one else has to either!

Terrible Experience - Misleading Pictures and Poor Service I had a terrible experience at this hotel. Don’t get lured by the pictures or the rate. The lobby and room don’t look anything like the photos. The manager was rude and indifferent. Room 105 reeked of cigarettes, reminiscent of an old woman’s apartment who smokes. I woke up at 6 AM to discover the blanket had burn holes. On my drive home, I felt very itchy but thought it might be a mosquito bite. However, when I reached home, I noticed big red spots on my toes, fingers, and scalp. This was BEDBUGS. Stay away from this filthy property.

Thus did not feel like 2.5 star. More like 1.5 or lesser. 1. I requested room with king size bed and got 2 double beds 2. The ambience of the reception was very raw. With no cooling. Felt like a sauna. 3. Carpets everywhere were dirty with black stains 4. Small room with every thing very old and unattended. 5. Bare minimum supplies in the bathroom. 6. The showerhead is so old and it doesn’t function properly. 7. I got a lot of bug bites at night time. I’m not sure if this is from bed bed bugs or just mosquitoes in the room. 8. The bed is not comfortable. The pillows are very old and they’re not comfortable at all. 9. Limited breakfast options.

I have to give one star based on the customer service and their practice of photocopying your driver's license and credit/debit card and leaving the photocopy at the front desk (literally anyone can grab the papers and have people's IDs and card information). The person that checked me in and the person that checked me out both had listening problems. I asked why she was copying my cards and she told me that I'd already paid for the room and asked me if I knew what prepaid meant. I'm a few hours, when I checked out, I asked the man what happens to the photocopies of people's cards. He proceeds to explain the cost of the room. You would think that's it was a language barrier but it is not. I found both of them to be dismissive and argumentative when I simply wanted to know what was going to happen with my information. The man said for me to return in three to four hours once they finished cleaning my room. Yet the people were on the floor of the room that we used and were cleaning the room two doors down from my room when we left out of the room. He kept playing dumb like he did not understand what I was calmly and clearly stating.

Do NOT stay here. Ever walked into a room and immediately just felt itchy? That was this. I would've taken more photos if I didn't want to get the hell outta there so fast. Wasn't even there more than an hour and was still charged for a night despite all my complaints about how unclean it was and also cancelled before 6PM per their cancellation guidelines. 3 out of 5 lights didn't work, which they tried to compensate with lamps (one of which didn't work). Fridge ran hot. Wasn't aware there was a connecting room either that was only blocked with a chair. Safety latch was broken off. I did not feel like I was going to be safe sleeping here. Did not feel comfortable sitting on either of the beds or the chairs. AC/heat box was destroyed and covered in stains, I didn't even want to see if it worked because it looked so disgusting. I understand I booked a smoking room but I've been to other inns that have provided smoking rooms *with* ventilation. Even as a smoker, I couldn't stand how rank it was. Any highly positive review is a scam OR a one-in-a-million lucky experience. Front desk guy was not nice or welcoming. The housekeeping people were the only folks that were nice. They only really spoke and understood Spanish, which was honestly totally fine. Gave me a chance to practice. I wish I could leave a 0/5 stars, or even a -10. I left immediately and booked at the Hampton up the street again like I did last year, and wish I just did that to begin with. Didn't even care I had to pay double the amount. I don't ever leave public reviews like this either, but I just wanted to make sure anyone thinking about staying here is aware of what they're getting into. Even if you're desperate, stay somewhere else.

DONT STAY HERE ! Sleep in your car if you have to. Absolutely disgusting starting with the outside. I checked in at 4 o’clock, all the garbage containers outside the hotel all the way around were filled with the garbage. The back is filled with garbage. There are rat traps everywhere. There are rat traps underneath the soda machines in the lobby, the employees are rude banshees. It’s a disgusting place when I turn the light on in the room. The bugs were crawling up the walls the room smelled like urine and cigarettes combined, within 10 minutes I went back to the front desk and I said absolutely not. Here’s your key. I want to refund that they would not give me a refund. I spent 20 minutes on the phone with Windham and they said they’ll look into it. I said it’s appalling that you would attach your name to this slum. The board of health will be called. This is unsanitary and disgusting, maybe they can do that in south Asian countries. But not in America. When I pulled up to the room, it was 114. The crackhead next-door came out smoking a glass pipe ! Filthy place inside and outside Garbage cans, overflowing outside Rat traps indoors and outdoors Garbage cans outside, overflowing Employees were rude and cold. And the room smell like cigarettes and urine with bugs crawling all over. For $102 like I said sleep in your car.

I saw black and brown blotches all over the bedsprings, but the sheets looked clean and it was late, so we stayed. I woke up at 6am to see a bug on my pillow. I inspected further and there were multiple bugs crawling around the bed. I looked up bed begs on my phone and it turns out they were bed bugs - and the blotches on the bedsprings were their droppings. I brought a bed bug to the front desk to prove there were bugs in the room. I was told there was nothing they could do because I paid through Orbitz, a third party. They gave me some garbage bags. My boyfriend and I discarded items we could part with and put everything else in the bags. We showered - without using the towels and put on clothes that were not close to the beds. We drove home way earlier than we wanted to and I spend six hours scouring the car and putting our clothing items in commercial dryers and then washing everything. It really sucked. And the worst thing is that I contacted Orbitz to get a refund. I sent pictures. But, the manager of the hotel refused to refund our money!!!!! I looked into small claims court, but even if you win you almost never get your money because if the other party doesn't pay the court doesn't actually help you get your money, so that is a dead-end. My sense is that this hotel has a serious infestation problem and gets away with it because small claims court isn't really worth it.

My first impression was positive. The lobby was very nice and modern. The room was spacious and very clean albeit a little dated but the furniture was in good condition. The room had a microwave and refrigerator plenty of space to hang cloths. The bathroom was well stocked and very clean. Check in and out was very efficient. I did have one problem. My room key did not work at first but one of the housekeepers saw I was having a problem and helped me. She was very nice. When I went to the front desk to fix the problem they were very helpful. I thuroly enjoyed my stay and definitely would stay here again. One last thing one impression I got was the hotel room had a homey feel to it. The blanket on the bed, the artwork on the wall, the drapes. also the lighting was more than adequate. Overall great value.
