Days Inn by Wyndham Niles - Hotel in Niles - 1300 Youngstown Warren Rd, USA

It was late and we were looking for a place to stay for the weekend. This hotel was the only one that had a vacancy. When I arrived at 2 am, I was greeted with a smile. I was told what rooms were available. I asked for something clean, neat, and a bed big enough to accommodate my tall boyfriend. I got EXACTLY what I asked for. The room was clean, neat, and a nice king size bed. We did not have any interruptions. The maid service cleaned everything, rooms and hallway. The hotel is conveniently located near a gas station, shopping, and in our case, a tire repair shop. The only draw back is there are not a lot of outlets in the room. But we travel with extension cords. So we were fine. At checkout I was greeted with not only a smile, but good conversation. This is a really nice place. I will be staying again.

I was thoroughly satisfied with this stay. The family staff were very welcoming. There was confusion with my credit card and even then, the situation was handled professionally and Kindly. The owner Mr. Patel, is one of these sweetest people one would be honored to meet. His niece was also extremely helpful, nice and informative. She helped me figure out an issue I was having with another hotel. They provided complimentary coffee and continental breakfast bags. The room was clean, beds were EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE and I felt very safe. The Hotel was quiet and a hop, skip and jump away from A get go. The employees there are nice as well. Overall, I was extremely happy. I had a very bad experience with the Baymont Youngstown the week before and I didn't have high Hopes. If your looking for a private, clean comfortable stay away from home, this Family owned (44 years) hotel will become your home away from Home. I promised, Everytime I have to visit Youngstown, THIS WILL BE MY HOTEL IF CHOICE! THANK YOU SO MUCH! YOU RESTORED MY FAITH IN HOTELS 😂. Thank you!

We recently unexpectedly needed a hotel room in the Youngstown area while traveling and thought we'd try the Days Inn by Wyndham Niles based on the positive reviews others have recently posted. What others didn't mention was how thoroughly the hallways and room smelled of nicotine. Guests were smoking right outside our doors (both the door to the outside and to the hallway). While the beds were in good condition and clean, as non-smokers, we wouldn't stay here again. The conditions were reminiscent of before smoking indoors was banned in housing.

Positive: Front desk staff and housekeeping staff were very kind and considerate. Room was clean and comfortable. Negative: The internet was out during our 3 night stay. Card keys did not work consistently at the doors. A garbage can near the outside entry doors (either inside or outside) would have helped prevent folks from leaving coffee cups, water bottles, etc on the curb. Negative: ""

This doesn't deserve a rating any higher than a 2. While the room was clean, there were 2 different sizes of pillows for the beds. The heater was not working properly and the room was super hot when we entered. Turning it down didn't help and we ended up turning it off. Thankfully we were on the other side of the hotel form the highway, otherwise it would have been noisy.The wallpaper stencil border was peeling off. The worst was that there was mold in the bathroom on the bathtub. Also - there were only 2 plastic cups provided in a room for 4 people. While we did get there a little late, the breakfast as adequate but not great.

The furnace didn¿t work well so I had to wear pajamas to keep warm at night when I told them the next morning they just kind of fluffed it off and the water was reversed. Really great for the price. The staff was very helpful with any issues. Definitely would stay here again on a road trip. Tons of great restaurants nearby.

Positive: The price was right, and the bed was comfortable. Close to many restaurants. Liked the high ceilings. Negative: Bagged breakfast, not a hot one. A thick smell in the hall. Can tell it was a smoking hotel at one point...heavy smoking. Cold water was basically a trickle. Negative: ""
