Days Inn by Wyndham Niantic Near Casinos - Hotel in Niantic - 239 Flanders Rd, USA

Hotel not as advertised, no restaurant, or pool ...closed due to pandemic Hello it's 2023 everything is open again, but not here. Waited at the front desk for over 45 minutes for someone to come to the desk( hoping staff wasn't dead behind the counter) had time to find another hotel and have my third party reservation cancelled at no charge. When front desk showed up he said he was sorry he had to clean rooms there's only two staff on site.. not my problem but he did allow me to cancel my reservation at no charge so I thank him. Skip it

Our room was neat , no weird smell; bathroom was clean. Parking is ample. <br/>The front desk person who assisted us was quick but can maybe consider that the use of “please” and “thank you” is greatly appreciated ( when we were checking in she goes : “credit card and drivers license with no eye contact just staring at her screen ) <br/>Don’t get us wrong - we love Wyndham - in fact we have some more booked in different locations this year... however not all of their hotels are the same in customer service, etc... <br/>Lastly, it was too weird that when we walked in to the lobby, room towels were in a cart in the lobby ! Those folded were on top of a lobby chair ... kind of inappropriate... <br/>That’s all:)

We stayed at the hotel because it's proximity to the event we were attending was great. There were three people at check in but only one seemed to know what they were doing. We were running late and did not notice to much about the hotel or our room except all our pillows had no pillow cases (which I guess is a good thing). We requested them and received them in a few minutes. When we had time to inspect the hotel and our room it appears that they don't vacuum often. They say the hotel was recently renovated but there is no date to that statement and it looks like it was not recent. We did find a sock and glow stick under the air conditioning unit in our room. I was afraid to look under the bed. The breakfast was the standard but the area was very small and made it difficult to not get in each other's way. It did not feel as if the a/c was working. I would not stay there again.

I was quite dissatisfied with this hotel for several reasons. Upon arrival check in took over 20 minutes and lobby was incredibly muggy hot humid and didn't feel clean. Young ladies were obviously in training which was fine until the person training left desk to attend to a gentleman who was complaining of mold in his room. When she left to inspect the two young ladies were left alone to do the best they could. ***** I wouldn't have rated so low because of this however my wife and I woke up and have bites of some kind on our legs and arms, unfortunately there was no one at the front desk! So after brushing our teeth in the clogged sink, we gave key cards to the cleaning person because she was the only person in site. My wife will be contacting corporate regarding the bites and demanding a refund certainly NOT worth $10 let alone the almost $200 we paid. Cheap plastic flowers loaded with dust, 100 thread count sheets with lint balls and towels I wouldn't dare put on my body. WE literally didn't even shower because we just wanted to get OUT

Nicest place is the lobby. People are fairly friendly. The room was ok for a night's sleep as the area is pretty quiet. The room itself was musty and had a small amount of mold in the bathroom, but was otherwise reasonably clean. The breakfast is typical of this range of hotel. I did have shells in my eggs, however. So, overall not great and not terrible...just an ok place if you need a place to sleep.

Hotel Staff are great! More than happy to accommodate us during our vacation when another hotel under Wyndham Properties left us with no hotel room. (See my review for the Super 8.. and DO NOT STAY THERE.. unless you like sleeping with bugs, walking through hallways of smoke and not being able to shower..) I am very pleased to stay here at the Days Inn of Niantic. Everything from entrance to the room and shower has been clean, fresh and inviting. Sleeping in a King bed, first floor. Coffee and tea in room along with a mini fridge and microwave. Would definitely come back and/or book rooms with this chain of Wyndham Properties. Also, very affordable.

Was hesitant because of reviews but glad I gave it s shot. Was secluded from traffic very quiet yet you can go to the bottom of hill and get anything u need. Stop shop and few very good restaurants shakers and an Italian place down the hill . The staff was so nice. They let me have a little pool party for my granddaughter she had a wonderful time. Cake and swimming what more do you need. Room was very clean beds were comfortable and the breakfast and coffee was great. Thank Youall for making our stay so enjoyable

Only good thing here was the service. Rooms smelled of Indian cuisine since the restaurant is connected to the hotel, that may put some people off. Room also had a misty smell to it. Not gonna stay again.
