Our room was beautiful, spacious, clean and the bed was so comfortable!!! Staff was extremely nice as well. But I DO NOT recommend staying in room 201 as we did. Because although it was stunning and so comfy, it’s located right next to the managers or owners living space and we could hear EVERYTHING!!!!! There was always loud banging, you could hear people/kids walking and running and small children crying or people being loud. The walls are so thin, it sounded like they were literally in our room. That’s the only complaint I have. I gave 5 stars because it was an amazing room over all and a GREAT location too 😊
The hotel is very well located, only a few minutes by car from the old Fisherman’s Wharf. Staff was super friendly and helpful as well. Room is very spacious and was very clean, bathroom is also a good size. The reception had coffee, juice, tea and fruit available at all times, which was great for the morning of our check out. Definitely worth staying!
My husband and I had a HORRIBLE experience here! And let me tell you why...Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that our room did not have the tub/shower combination that was advertised on the website. The shower we actually received was extremely small, I don’t see how anyone fits comfortably there, and I’m pretty petite myself and I was extremely limited in space showering there. Additionally, the NOISE generated by the refrigerator in the room was INTOLERABLE! We had to unplug the appliance to get some sleep. We were shocked to see that the front door of the room did not shut properly and lacked a safety latch, compromising both our security and peace of mind.||The situation was exacerbated by the behavior of the front desk manager. He assured us that he had spoken to a manager about our concerns and had left detailed notes, but this turned out to be untrue. When we approached the next front desk manager the next day, it became evident that no notes had been left, and our issues had not been communicated.||Moreover, the same front desk manager, first person we spoke to, falsely claimed that no other rooms were available. However, a quick check on the website showed that there were indeed rooms available. This level of dishonesty is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction.||The room itself did not meet basic cleanliness standards. We found hairs on the floor and in the shower, and the towels had an unpleasant odor reminiscent of cheese. Additionally, the room did not match the pictures advertised on your website, which was misleading. So check that carefully when booking!||WAIT! There's more! I contacted customer care to complain about these issues after we left. Guess what our compensation was?? Wyndham rewards points that were equivalent to half of one night's stay!! We payed approximately $420 for two night and they didn't compensate even for one night!! I reached out to customer care and they told me that the compensation came from the hotel itself and could not overstep their decision because it was independently owned. I figured from the experience I had had with them directly this was going to be a completely loss! Beware of this place!! Especially room #202, I would give a negative 10 stars if I could. Check out the pictures!
This was my first time staying at Days Inn been going to Monterey for the past 20 years. The parking was a bit tight didn't know that there was over-flow parking across the street nevertheless the young man who worked the front desk was very pleasant, kind and respectful I've a big vechile he moved his car for me twice so I could've his space. House-keeping was great room was clean and yes its close to everyone great place to stay.
Location is great. Hotel looked decent from the outside. I really wanted this to be a great stay. We check in and I do a walk-thru of the room and I find urine spots on the toilet seat in our room. The bathroom sink area also had tons of water marks. Looked like they just completely skipped cleaning the bathroom. My room was located right next to the laundry room where the maids work out of. I asked the woman if she could sanitize the bathroom because it wasn’t clean. She told me she doesn’t have any disinfectant. I told her there was dried urine on the toilet seat and then she gave me the small white face towels left in the bathrooms with a bottle of disinfectant spray to clean it myself. So that was a bad start - it didn’t get much better. TV is new but abnormally small although that doesn’t matter much. Refrigerator was very loud for some reason. I was on the first floor and I could hear everything from upstairs. Doors aren’t sealed properly so you can hear people outside and their cars. There was a high pitched noise that was on and off our entire stay. I looked all around the room and couldn’t find where it was coming from. It was the loudest by the bed and seemed it might have been coming from upstairs. It turned on and off continuously. I’ll never stay here again and really poorly reflects on Wyndham’s name.
Beware of this hotel 's financial practices. I was charged a deposit for our room. That's not a problem. It's been a week and they have not returned the deposit. After calling my bank several times and the hotel manager several times, I was informed that they have no power to contact their own Bank to see where this money has gone or when it will be returned. Entirely unhelpful. Not only is there no Continental breakfast, the rooms smell terrible. These people are just trying to get a dollar out of you. Look elsewhere for better quality, better service, and more quality for your money. Money. Go here! They do not value your business.
We booked this hotel during car week, because it seemed to have a flexible cancellation policy and an advertised ocean view. Neither of these things are true. The manager KC Arjun is rude and has NO sense of customer service. DO NOT stay at this hotel. There is NO view of the ocean, and despite the staff promising a refund for the 4th night of our stay, the manager refused, “stating car week”. The walls of the hotel are thin and there is really nothing about this hotel that I would recommend. Prepare to be disappointed, especially with the management of this hotel.
Despicable business practices. I was charged to deposit and when I have not received it back a week later I called my bank. They have no record of them ever issuing a $320 deposit. When I contacted the manager he was incredibly rude and unhelpful. He informed me that he has no no ability to contact their third-party processor to remedy the situation. Somehow my money was taken and thrown into nowhere land and he cannot provide any answers. JD should be fired. Literally taking food out of my family's mouth because he doesn't want to be bothered. The rooms are shabby and the place is a total rip-off. You can get more and have a better time anywhere else for the price. Don't go here
Totally impressed with the service and incredible attention we received during our stay. It was our first time visiting and will definitely be back. Itâs a great hotel for family with kids or even a couple wanting a getaway. The views are amazing a
Summary: cozy and quiet room, friendly staff and nice location. We stayed for 4 nights, and booked a standard king room. The room was nice and quiet, and the front desk lady was very friendly. I want to call out specially that this hotel provides 2
We had a great stay at Wave Street Inn! From start to finish Christine, Carol and Jon were fantastic. The location is perfect right in the middle of Cannery Row and 10 minute walk to the wharf. Our room had an incredible view of the ocean and everyth

I joined First City Crossfit in September 2023 and could not be happier with the overall experience. I've been to many crossfit gyms around the country and this has been, by far, the best. Frank and the coaches are outstanding! They have such a desir
