Days Inn by Wyndham Long Island/Copiague - Featured Reviews (319)
It's called red roof now. I know NY is expensive but I couldn't get my head around the fact they can provide such a rubbish service and get away with it. I was shocked that they copied my id and credit card as this is not allowed in Europe- data protection laws. I asked for extra towels - can't do it as housekeeping is closed. We stayed in a non smoking room yet i could smell cigarette stink lingering on the walls and bedding. Extra blanket we asked for had burnt cigarette holes in sever places. The worst shock (no pun intended) was from the hair dryer in the bathroom that was located, low and behold, by the sink! And plugged into mains. Also no 'hold' button to operate but stays on. The holder on the wall was loosly fitted and sparks started flying from it when i lifted it. I disconnected it immediately but my first instinct was to drop it. If i did i would most certainly got electrocuted. This set up is so dangerous. It should be fitted in the room, not by the sink! I left it unplugged as this is a disaster waiting to happen. This is still the cheapest place in the area but i doubt id be staying again after the experience. Please be careful.
Dirty! Not DaysInn, it’s now RedRoof. Showers are filthy, stuff is broken all over, the linen has hair on them. I do NOT recommend this location. We are so disappointed. Also, they no longer serve breakfast, “just coffee” but they didn’t even have that. 😒
This hotel is good if you’re just looking to sleep. No amenities, continental breakfast is TRASH! TV’s and remotes in rooms barely work. Lighting is too bright and not good. Plus side, room does come with a fridge and microwave. Rooms are clean however! Proceed with caution.
The room was definitely not a good experience and owner WAS NOT helpful in any way . Tv didn’t work. No lamp in the room. , other people’s food in the fridge and fridge to was warm / didn’t work and when asked f where the cir machine was , I was told it is BROKE and has to be repaired . My husband was feeling ill and after we checked in an hour prior I had gone to front desk and said I had to check out because I was taking my husband to the emergency room at the hospital , didn’t even give me my money back or even offer another nights stay , tried to call and got nowhere even Wyndham was not at all helpful and honestly can’t believe they have their brand on this particular divy , no tell motel . Hey WYNDHAM you can do much better than that place
This hotel was perfect for the price and served its purpose. The room was clean, smelled bleach in bathrooms & jacuzzi. I'm a clean freak so I checked everything, under the sheets, mattress...etc.The room even came with a convenient mini fridge & microwave. I think the breakfast could be a little more variety like muffins and bagels. But the hotel was not booked for its breakfast. I needed a last minute arrangement due to a medical issue. She was very accommodating and friendly. I'm staying there again soon. I already booked it!!
I was disappointed with my stay all the way around. In the first room I was given, the heat did not work in March in NY. Changed rooms, then no washcloths. The walls are paper thin in this hotel so you will hear everything going on in the rooms next to you. I never slept well despite a decent mattress. Traveler beware. Spend a little more $ and choose another hotel in the area.
Most horrible place. My sister and her daughter booked a non smoking room and was given a room smelling of smoke and with cigarette buds on the sheets. When asked to change the room no one was helpful. She was given the run around. In fact the front desk person asked that she be understanding to him as he had no more rooms and could not find a new one, sayung she should just stay or leave with no refund! DO NOT book this place. You will waste your money, and energy on a team that has no customer service. Absolutely horrible experience.
I would give this place zero stars if I could. We checked in at the front desk and they gave us our room keys. We walked up to our room and noticed the door was propped open. We entered the room hesitantly and checked the room to make sure no one else was in there. Once inside, we found a used crack pipe behind one of the lamps. The surfaces of the room were covered in brown sticky residue and there were roaches. Without putting our stuff down, we immediately went back to the front desk to let the employee know what was going on. His attitude was very nonchalant as if this was something he has had to deal with before. He wrapped the pipe up in a tissue and said he would take a picture of it to send to his boss. (Surprise surprise...he never did) He then proceeded to say “this room is good though” and started to leave. We told him we did not feel comfortable staying because, after multiple times of trying, the door had issues locking and unlocking as if it had been broken into. On top of that, the room was obviously not clean. We found roaches on the floor. Since the door was open when we arrived we had no way of knowing who had been in there after housekeeping. We did not feel safe staying in that room and asked if we could have a different room. He told us he had no other rooms to give us and that the one we had was already the best room. We called the customer service line that night to see if they would accommodate us and have our reservation transferred to another Days Inn. They told us to call in the morning which did not help our current situation. We went back to the front desk and dropped off our room key letting the employee know we would not be staying. We asked if there was anything he could do about refunding us and he rudely said “No, you already checked in. You stayed”. Rather than argue with him, we decided to leave and had to travel 3 hours back home which was over $100 in gas round trip. The next morning we called the Days Inn customer service line for a second time and they were very unapologetic about the situation and brushed us off. The representative told us that someone would follow up with us about a refund and no one from Days Inn got in contact or even attempted to get in contact with us. Because of that, I filed a complaint with the BBB with plenty of photographic evidence of course. When the establishment finally responded they called me a liar without providing proof that supported their own claim AND still refused to refund my money. We will be suing them in small claims court. Moral of the story. DO NOT BOOK HERE unless you like crack addicts, rude employees, and roach infestations.
The best of the best. Masters of their craft. They have curated an establishment that has top notch beers of all varieties. The owners and staff are very kind and helpful. It's a place you can go and feel a sense of community in the craft beer cultur
This place is right by my house so I decided to give it a shot. The wings were so good! Fresh and delicious! The sauces we tried we fantastic. I normally donât like crinkle cut fries but we tried their âThe Originalâ Famous Loaded Fries and the
