Didn’t receive my 50$ security deposit back after checking out. I will leave a good review when I get it back. EDIT:: I received my security deposit back thankfully so I changed the rating on the hotel. Thank you for returning it back after I did leave the room in good condition. The room was clean. Had clean towels and the bed was comfortable. Hotel needs updating but it was not a big deal for how much the nightly rate is. Thanks!

This hotel was supposed to be a halfway point stop between Texas and our home in Illinois. I have a major neurological condition in my spine which causes me all kinds of issues—difficulty controlling body functions, pain, dizziness, light and sound sensitivity, etc. I’m also wheelchair bound. I reserved an accessible room. We went to check in, and saw that there was only one disabled parking spot and one ramp. The parking spot was occupied by someone without the appropriate plate or placard. I inquired with the desk clerk about how this was policed, and thats when all hell broke loose. The clerk refused to acknowledge why this was so important to me, and proceeded to discuss everything at maximum volume. Somewhere during this mess, the owner of the vehicle in question came out and put up a placard (my son saw this). The clerk yells at us that we can park out back or on the side and that it is “open parking” (this comes in key later). I’m trying to find a resolution, but the clerk just won’t listen to my concerns. Finally, we have our room keys, but I state that I’m going to leave a negative review due to the poor customer service. All hell breaks loose again. The clerk tells us we can go elsewhere, and she’s not going to refund our money if we are going to leave a bad review. This leads to another back and forth for several minutes where I am highly aggravated. I’m being extorted at this point because I won’t get my money back due to the threat of a bad review. Finally, the clerk calls the police to have us removed. We agreed to leave before the police arrived, and attempted to confirm that she was going to withhold the refund. She refused to talk to us. We waited for the police in the parking lot. The officer was sympathetic. He did state, however, that the property would likely want us trespassed. So, just for standing up for accessibility rights, we get ejected and trespassed. We did finally get a refund, however. We e-mailed Wyndham Hotels, who apologized, but stated they were only there for the branding. The hotels are independently owned and operated. I received an e-mail from the owner/general manager who stated that we were rude and argumentative, and that the clerk tried to tell us about a second handicapped parking spot and ramp on the back side of the building (she never stated this was handicapped parking). The general manager was equally dismissive and dodged any accountability. ||||Not worth it.

I booked my stay 2-3 wks advanced from STL. They took my money before I even got to the hotel at 3pm. There I got my keys and was told I needed a 50$ security deposit. I would receive it when I left. Next morning, leaving… I was told I would get my security deposit depending on my bank. I assure you my bank don’t play around and if they give back the deposit when they needed to it would be in my account. So I spent 125$ on a hotel room where I could have booked a better hotel room some where else. I will leave bad reviews until I get my deposit back.

Horribly dirty! This was the most disgusting hotel room I have ever stayed in. $60 a night would be too much for this place. There were holes in the sheets, the floors were clearly not mopped in a long time. Long brown hairs in the bathroom. The microwave oven was so dirty that it smelled up the room like burnt food when I used it to heat up a cup of water. I would go somewhere else or sleep in your car. If you do decide to stay there, I would suggest making sure you are fully vaccinated.

This hotel was one of the grossest places I have ever stayed. Where to begin... the room smelled musty and moldy. The bathroom was in such disrepair from dangerously cracked floors to a door that was screwed together and wouldn't close. We were allow only 2 towels for 2 adults; no more were allowed. The staff was completely disrespectful when we asked questions, and gave no assistance when we need help.

In need of some updates. Clean and comfortable, by showing its age. Price was right and fit four adults on 2 queen beds. AC was cold, "breakfast" was very lacking, and lobby/reception area also needs updates. Was an issue with authorization charges, called to resolve and received a very prompt response and email to confirm the reversal was transacted.

We had been looking for a room since midnight..everything was booked or only had double beds (we need at least a queen)|Found this little gem at 2:30 a.m.! We were very pleasantly surprised! The the desk clerk was very helpful and accommodating. The room was very clean! Nice bed,blankets and enough pillows. Bathroom was immaculate! Nice start to our mini vacation.

The hotel is showing some progress. They are doing some remodeling of rooms especially with painting, flooring, keeping it cleaned and replacing sheets and bedding! The only concern would be the shower/bathtub and peeling of the ceiling in the bathroom, otherwise, they are putting some work in it looks like. Make sure the rooms are being cleaned before you leave, otherwise you will not get your deposit back. Most hotels and such are starting to ask for a deposit. Ranging between $50-100 plus payment for the room.
