Second time we have stayed here and it’s a great place to stay! The beds are comfy and the room is clean. It has basic supplies for the shower such as soap and body wash. Even though it has outdoor, door access, we felt safe and it was very quiet. Breakfast consisted of muffins, bagels, cereal, coffee and waffle machine. It’s right next to Krystal’s and checkers across the road. Buckeyes is right across the traffic lights. Staff are super friendly. We will stay again. Best budget hotel we have stayed in.
Let me preface this by saying it was better than we expected after seeing other reviews. Stayed here for 4 nights and you really get what you paid for. Beds were cleaned and sheets changed daily along with towels. Thankfully we did not have bed bugs like some others have mentioned. The room was rough around the edges with randoms suspicious stains around and dirty carpets. The worst were the gross lamp shades. Overall for the price its a good stay, close to the major highways and buc-ees, also about an hour away from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
Positive: The room was clean, smelled good. The room and bathroom had been renovated which was very nice. Front desk staff very polite and helpful. The location was perfect for the stay we needed (easy to get on the interstate the next morning.) Negative: It was fine. We did not expect it to be luxurious.
The room was a little dirty, and I could tell where they needed to vacuum. Bedding had hair between the sheets, glad that we brought our own sheets to put on. We had ants in our room, but they did spray the room while we were gone and changed the sheets. The desk manager when when checked in and out was great. I booked this hotel on a site because it showed it had a great mountain view, which it does but not as beautiful as I thought. Also, on a very busy road.
Nice staff & let me check in early too. I wasn't feeling well and needed to get to my room quick & they glad let me in early. I will definitely stay again when I am going through Tenn to Nashville. Really close to Buc-ees too, that was nice as well..
Stayed here April 9th 2024 on my way back home. Needed accommodations that accepted pets. The grounds and hotel definitely need attention. The grounds were littered with trash, beer cans and cigarette butts. Guess this should have been a tip off. Pictures make it look a lot better than reality. Room appeared to be ok. Wasnt the cleanest but not the worst either. Very dated and in need of deep cleaning. It wasnt till I laid down to sleep that I noticed a horrible odor. It was in the area between the beds and nightstand. By this time it was late and I was very tired. Needless to say I did not sleep very well. In the morning there wasnt any breakfast , coffee etc. Not sure if I left too early to get breakfast or if there just wasnt a breakfast offered that morning. Would not recommend this hotel.
Wonderful stay.|Waffles for breakfast |Beds very comfortable and clean|Pool was awesome |I don’t give good reports unless deserved.|Coffee and espresso was very good.|I’m a coffee person and have high standards.|Front desk was pleasant every time I needed them. No HBO that’s the only thing .|Tub had a lot of dirt in it? Weird right?|But that’s the only complaint I have. So over all it was a very pleasant stay.|I’d come back and recommend.😊
Having read some of the other reviews, if you can't handle the small stuff, don't look for less expensive hotels. Our experience was great. Sure, there was a small rip in the pull out sofa, and a rust stain from the hand bar in the shower, but the bed and sofa were very comfortable, everything worked properly, it was very clean, and we felt safe. Our king room was very spacious and had its own balcony, with a dilapidated chair I don't think they knew was there. We had hoped to connect our Roku to the TV, but there was no HDMI port. As with so many hotels now, the shower had the nice fabric curtain, but no liner, so unless one is very careful, a lake appears on the bathroom floor after showers, making the floor slippery. The location is convenient, being just off the freeway and close to the attractions. Breakfast consisted of very good waffles (two waffle makers, one for a large waffle and one for 4 small ones), bagels, muffins, and cereal. There is a juice machine and a coffee machine, both with multiple selections. The service was efficient and polite. The pool was, surprisingly, closed and needed cleaning. Other reviewers complained about the difficulty in turning left from the driveway - there is another driveway. There is a median there, so you still can't turn left, but it's maybe 30 seconds to go right, through the roundabout, and back to the light, where it's safe to go whatever direction you choose. Overall, we were pleased and would definitely stay there again.
