Days Inn by Wyndham Great Lakes - N. Chicago - Hotel in Lake Bluff - 3000 N Skokie Hwy, USA

Based on my recent stay, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel's policy requires a $50 deposit, which may or may not be refunded after check-out due to how they felt the room looked like after check out. ||The cleanliness of the room was also subpar, with stains on the bedding already and only one cleaning during my three-night stay. ||The hotel also experienced a shortage of breakfast items before 8am and the vending machines were not functioning properly and sold out of half of the items that were offered. ||The hotel's exterior and interior did not match the online photos, and the beds were not the same as advertised. My sister's room was also excessively hot due to a malfunctioning air conditioning unit. The unit that was in the room I was given was working like it should. To make matters worse, the front desk clerk was rude to one of the guests.

We are here for our sons Navy graduation and absolutely amazed by the help of the staff from navigation around here to good places to eat! We got 2 rooms, both are 100% clean and put together. After reading some other reviews I was hesitant HOWEVER we are so happy we decided to give them a try! Fans in the hall ways are due ro carpets being shampooed, hotel is within a 5 minute drive from walgreens and target so also perfectly located! To top it off they have a set up for our new sailors!

The pictures are not what the rooms look like. The place cant afford professionals to remodel. They did It themselves. Terrible. I was discussed with This room. never took my shoes off gross!!! Don't stay there. Warning beware pay more somewhere else

This was the best service I've received my whole trip. Thank your for your accommodations for me and my family. Your service felt genuine and was always delivered with a warm smile. The rooms were comfortable and the experience was above and beyond what I could have asked for. A special shout out to Nick and Jay who tended to my needs promptly and politely!

Crappy place. Go to Sleep Inn a short walk away. Needs renovation. Service sucks, first room awful with leaks and faulty air conditioner and fan. Excuses with smiles for poor quality property. Switched room was better but much lower quality property than even Sleep Inn where other family stayed. Just an embarrassing facility to stay at, but we prebooked and had to stay all 5 nights. Wyndham has really hot the slum market. At least no need bugs.

The facility is disgusting. The room we had was dirty. The blanket had stains on it and there was a policy for stains on white linen being charged if you left it. The room was falling apart. The light didn’t work on the table, the trim on the floor fell, the ceiling in the bathroom was open, you can see the wood/insulation. Just not a room to give looking the way it was looking. They have a no refund policy which is because of how nasty the rooms are. They know it’s nasty and that’s why they aren’t giving a refund. Never again. Look elsewhere and spend more for better place and cleaner facilities.

I paid for a room with two beds, I verified that it had two beds several times while booking and was told it did. The confirmation email says ‘Special Requests: 2 beds preferred.’ We got there and the room only had one bed. The guy at the desk would not talk us but only said that we need to call the 800 number. I called them (It is a third party that makes their reservations) and all they wanted to do is upsell us a room with two beds, but I already paid for a room with two beds! After not getting anywhere with them we left and went to the Courtyard right down the road, they were happy to accommodate us. I can not get Days Inn to refund our money, they broke the contract so they should give us a refund.

Scam!!! I stayed here by myself for 2 nights My 50 deposit was not returned. I’ve called multiple times and spoke with several different people. I was told it would be returned after 7 business days. I’m still waiting on the manager Mike to call me back. The last person I spoke with after a month of working to get my deposit back said it was a stain on the towel. I don’t care if it was five cents, I don’t like being robbed. I don’t recommend you to stay at a place that scams you out your money. They possibly can’t do this to Navel clientele whom they market to because I’m sure the base would tell customers not to use this hotel. UPDATE. The manager responded to a Expedia review instead of calling me personally when I've been waiting on his call back, it so funny how it went from, Your money will automatically be returned in 7 business days the very first time I called, to there was a stain on a towel, to there was a stain on the linen. which one is it? I have made numerous calls to this hotel regarding my deposit. On the Expedia review, the manager Mike stated that he was going to do a one time return of my 50.00. I am waiting to see if it will be returned to my credit card, it should not take all this activity and energy to get this resolved. This hotel obviously likes to play this game and they probably get away with it half the time, they would say anything to keep your deposit, but I will make a ruckus over injustice and unfairness especially when it comes to myself. I don't like fraud. I had to get Expedia involved and this has still not be handle as of 7/9/24
