Days Inn by Wyndham Fort Lauderdale-Oakland Park Airport N - Hotel in Fort Lauderdale - 1595 W Oakland Park Blvd, USA

This hotel was a distance from the Hollywood airport, but when I called and asked for a shuttle, a driver came within 20minutes to pick me up. He gave me rather poor directions as to where to meet him, so I waited and texted him off and on for another 20 minutes before I was actually picked up.I wasn't familiar with the airport, so I did the best I could with my two pieces of luggage. Once at the hotel, I had paid for a room with two queen bed, but told the front desk lady I really preferred a king bed.She told me she couldn't change the room because I paid through a third party.The manager offered to help me with my luggage and I then asked him if I could get a room with a king size bed after seeing several small, loud children in the room next to mine.He was very nice and placed me in a quiet room with a king size bed in the back of the hotel. I finally got some sleep after a long flight.There is a restaurant on the premises, but the only thing I could really order in the sandwich category was a delicious, thick hamburger that took over 35 minutes to serve.There was a comedian in the next room who wasn't funny and just three other people there and nobody else in the small restaurant.The service was slow and the humor was southern.The room was spacious, all the lights worked, and the bed was comfortable.The shower/tub area was ancient, but had quick hot water.I really can't recommend this hotel in good faith after all the inconvenienced I endured.Because of all the inconveniences after a long trip from San Diego, I can't really recommend this hotel in good faith.

The days inn is a low-end motel basically. The one reason I stay there is the pricing and the fact that if you request a high floor the roach problem wont be a factor in your stay. Chris usually works the front desk late nights a d he not only remmebers my name but he also well mannered, quick, and efficient. He aleays has a smile on his face. The rest of the staff is not bad but they could benefit from Chris' overall attitude/service. The crowd that visits this hotel is questionable at the very least but then again I have no issues speaking my mind about whatever situation I find myself in.

Positive: Our stay was short Negative: This hotel was not close to what we expected. Cockroach on the floor. Location was horrible, no place close by to eat or buy snacks. Restaurant attached was less than inviting. No one was in there eve or morning. I would not recom, nor would I stay again. Negative: ""

This place is terrible! The only positive thing is the free airport shuttle, but many places offer that. The only face cloth in the room was the used one from another guest you can see in the picture. Ugh, disgusting! Room Phone was dirty , fingerprints everywhere which tells me things weren’t wiped down between guests, old towels, just terrible. Don’t stay here! And it wasn’t cheap. After taxes and fees 200$ for the night. We just wanted a place to sleep the night before our cruise, so didn’t want to spend a lot. Neighborhood ( we were told by driver) is not a safe area.

Oh goodness! The “location” was so questionable that major Pizza restaurants that were 7 mins away WOULD NOT DELIVER at this location!!! I booked the hotel because it supposedly was a Wyndham property…. NOT. It was horrible. Thank goodness I was only staying one night!!! I originally posted the photo of LARGE roach in ROOM and it looks like Google has deleted the photos. Additionally, I had posted a ONE Star and that jumped to a TWO Star review. What is going on?

I stayed here the night before a cruise in March 2024. It was spring break so every hotel had at least doubled rates. This hotel was one of the cheapest. The room itself was decent, but the area was not nice. As I arrived at 10 pm police were on the scene removing someone from a room. I made sure to remove all luggage from my car as it did not seem safe. Supposedly there was a restaurant for breakfast, but it was closed (on a Saturday).

The staff was so rude because we were there for 2 and a half weeks and not once did they offer to help us take our trash and we slept on the same dirty sheets for a week until we complained about it and what was their response about it was on you need to be better and at everything. but if I asked for something they would ignore me and then blame me not thank me. I should have kept my money and slept on the street cause it would have been better.

OMGOLLY! There was nothing “Wyndham” about this Days Inn Hotel! It was used as a flop house, rented rooms by the month! Large, live Cock Roaches! Bad location of town! I booked through Booking.com. It was a good 45 mins from Airport/Curise port! |The booking.com description was a total lie. I have pics of the roaches! DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!!
