If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would. My dad booked a room that included amenities such as a microwave and fridge. The manager himself put him in a different room that did not include any of those things. After realizing 3 days later, my dad went to the front desk and the attendant switched him to the room he booked in the first place. She then told him to speak to the manager once he came in. Once we came back to speak with him and explained the situation, he basically said it was his fault because he didn’t complain soon enough and said that there was no price difference after we were told there was and he’d be able to rectify the situation. The manager was very rude and unaccommodating. I asked him to further explain and he told me “I’m not talking to you.”
Personnel gentil.
I picked this facility due to its free airport shuttle. The facility is a bit run down, but not terribly so. When my wife and I returned after a long day, we found that our room door was ajar. Luckily no one took our stuff. The breakfast is decent....for a Days Inn. I would stay here again. The check-in desk/breakfast room are a separate building from the building with the rooms, which seemed a bit odd to me, but not a problem.
Update: Stayed here again. A great location for us since my son loves just a few miles away. Our room had the usual issues. A worm on the floor, which I disposed of before the wife saw it. Dirty floor. Pieces of the laminate flooring are coming up. The door had a huge gap all the way around, but it opened and shut okay. Shower head was not installed properly so it points more toward the wall. The whole place needs a complete makeover.
This Hotel needs to be SHUT DOWN, it is the worst, grosses place we have ever stayed at. The smell, the entire room room was dirty, had not been vacuumed, not that it would have done any good. We barricaded our door at night. You would not want to run a black light in there. so gross. We believe illegal things were going on there. Stay away from here!|Never again, and forget the never show shuttle service!
Do not stay here! The pictures are not honest! We stayed here for 2 nights and it was absolutely the worst experience ever! The property is old and run down. Everything is broken and or dirty. The sheets were dirty. Bedbugs, bathroom was broke and the front door wouldn’t close all the way. We had to bump a chair up again the door each night to secure. We would have change hotels but we had no time as my son was competing at a event. There was no breakfast, just a jug of disgusting oatmeal and warm milk and toast. Whyndam should be ashamed to cal this their property! Do not stay here!
On June 10, 2024, I wanted to purchase one room. The receptionist suggest that I purchase the room online, which will be much cheaper. Apparently that wasn't true. I purchase one bed for one night and check out the next day. The room was for $72. When I received my receipt, I was charge $40.45 for taxes in the state of Florida. Unbelievable for a $72 room tax $40.45 which made me to pay $122.01 for one room when it was $72. When I called the customer service for hotel reservation, no one can explain why the $40.45 extra was charged, only they can say tax and fees. They couldn't break it down to that amount. If anyone is reading this complaint, please explain why I was charge for a $72 one night with a$40.45 tax. I recommend no one never purchase a room from Days Inn in any state. You will be disappointed with the fee and service. Thank you.
Personnel very helpful.Van service to/from airport was spot on. But for an $80. room the clerk put a $100 deposit per room to get reimbursed in 7+ working days. Hum...Oh, Elevators don't work properly. Push 4 get 3. Door sticks on fifth floor. LOUD traffic could not rest the rooms virtually overlook very busy and loud Broward Blvd. Motorcycles noises vibrate bones. Rooms need complete renovation. Two visits (before & after flights) and four rooms. All had a smell. Faucet in sink wiggled, doors don't seal properly. A bit sketch on the outside, two pair of mens underwear hanging on balcony. Pool looked good but didn't have time to use. Bed sheets and towels very clean.
Needed 1 night and booked this hotel primarily for the free airport shuttle service and breakfast. Figured the free shuttle would save on taxi/rideshare costs and a small Continental breakfast would be sufficient so paid more than most 2 star rooms go for. There was no breakfast at all. The TV had less than a dozen channels, most of which were so snowy or blocky to be unwatchable, the shuttle driver left before the promised time so I ended up using Uber anyway. ||If the room had been half what I paid, it would have been appropriate for the rundown and 2 star quality.
