This hotel is clean and comfortable and in a good location. It is quiet and there is lots of parking. Beds are good and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is very good for a variety of cold offerings with a toaster and microwave. The breakfast area is large and very clean. I stay here often and will continue to do so.
I originally booked for the wrong day and Kim was extremely helpful in making sure I got the correct day and the best rate :) She absolutely saved the day for us, thank you Kim...The hotel itself is in a great location, close to the highway and close to Conneaut. The room we had was clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable enough for our one night stay. My one and only negative would be breakfast, there is not much of an offering, and they have a spacious breakfast area. In all fairness I did not select this hotel based on breakfast :) we chose to stay here based on location and convenience. We will stay here again for the same event next year..
Room was AWESOME!! Bed had tall wooden posts - just fabulous!! Romantic. Manager left breakfast out later for me - I just woke & came out at 0935. VERY ACCOMMODATING of her. The entry drive to the hotel was line with Rose of Sharon trees - just lovely! If I'm ever in Conneaut, Ohio - I'll DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN !!
Room was pretty bad. Dirty carpets. Couldn't get the AC to turn off. Headboards are that fake leather and they're peeling off the top layer and landing on the bed. No ice bucket. Bathroom was mostly clean. Good water pressure. Leftover frozen food in the freezer of the refrigerator.
We stayed here for one night to see the 2024 Eclipse. The room rates were great compared to others in the area. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the hotel. Sure some things are old/outdated but everything was very clean, including the room, bathroom, lobby, vending areas, breakfast area, parking lot, patio, and grounds. |Our beds were comfortable. The room was spacious. WiFi worked great. TV was internet connected - was able to login to Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. |Front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. |The hotel sits away from other buildings and is very private with a huge outdoor area. Plenty of parking. |Even though the hotel was full we had no issues with hearing any noise from our room - no noise from other guests and no noise from the highway.
Positive: Price was reasonable. Room was clean. Negative: The breakfast was lacking. Out of OJ, one slice of bread left, one yogurt left, no mix to make waffles, pretty much everything else was gone/empty. No one at front desk or in the meal area to address concerns. Still 1hr left of breakfast being offered.
An older motel they're trying to update. While the room and beds were clean on arrival, they was no additional house keeping done for a 4day/3night stay. There is no evelator, and the back door has no secured entry, open 24/7. You have to pay for the telephones to be turned on even to call the main desk or 911. The toilet malfunctioned the last night and after trying the front desk on my phone without success, I went to the lobby. I was told maintenance was not there there's nothing to be done, they could give me a plunger to see if that would work. After a sigh and roll of my eyes, he offered to take a look with no other gaurantee but to move rooms if he couldn't resolve the problem. He found the float in the tank needed adjustment and left the plunger just in case. The sheets were clean an crisp but the blankets on the bed were holey and threadbare. I think in the future we'll look elsewhere and you get what you pay for.
This Days Inn was able to get me a pet friendly room when I got a flat tire on the interstate and desperatley needed a place to stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were also kind to my dog who is a pittbull/bully mix and isn't always welcomed into public places, even when they are labelled pet friendly. The hotel is also a 5-minute walk from the nearest car repair place, which was super convenient.
Great little place close to the Lake. The server was SUPER friendly, and fast. Just NICE for a 1st visit dining alone! Will definitely be back with my group.
I love this bar, always been my favorite. It looks great since they did some remodeling tho! The bartenders and owner are awesome. Just a small hometown bar with good prices and great people.
