5 stars because this place is absolutely nothing special. I was looking for a cheap hotel to stay in during my time off and this is exactly that. Breakfast has few options but they're all really good- waffles, oatmeal, cereal, english muffins & toast, juice and coffee, etc. Nobody has bothered us, and it seems like there's not much traffic on a Tuesday/Wednesday. The fact that the hotel is so small in size is definitely a plus: no long walks to and from your room. If you're wondering, you may check in between the ages of 18 & 21, which we had trouble finding in the area. Also, the water runs hot and clean, and the AC works great. I will say that this building has clearly seen better days: the door to our room requires some convincing to get open. The pool is also not in service in July, but for a simple, no bells & whistles hotel stay, I really have no gripe with this place. If you're like me and have low standards and a thin wallet this is the hotel for you.
I have never been to a hotel that was in this much of a state of disrepair. The ceiling had a Crack in it, the bathroom sink had old nail polish on it, the shower curtain and towel rack were falling apart and the entire room smelled musty. I couldn't stand the idea of putting anything in the drawers. The only redeeming quality was that 2 members of the staff were friendly and did their best to accommodate the 2 simple requests that I made (a "do not disturb" sign and fresh towels).
I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The pictures on the website were misleading; the room we were given was in terrible condition. It had cigarette burns on the furniture, a filthy floor, and black mold in the bathroom. The overall state of the room felt more like a crack house than a reputable hotel. The furniture was broken and barely held together. I strongly believe that Wyndham should reconsider their affiliation with this property. I definitely do not recommend staying here
I will say this, if you are going to expect a great vacation stay, just get a better place. Unfortunately, too many homeless and addicts in and around the property. The rooms need to be remodeled and if they are going to allow people to smoke, build rooms that are equipped for smokers. Overall, my review is very low since I will not be staying at this place with my family anymore. I rather keep my family safe than risk an incident or health issue.
DONT GO HERE The rooms are disgusting. There are stains all over the walls, mold in the bathroom, drawings/graffiti on the furniture, the non smoking room smells like cigarettes, and there was a huge puddle of vomit just sitting out uncleaned. I'm the type of guy to give the benefit of the doubt but this is way past that. One of the cleaning ladies kept on accusing us of having a dog in our room when he had told her multiple times and even offered her to take a look. We refuse to stay another night. Never coming back here 0/10
I didn't expect high end furnishings or luxury accommodations from this room based on the price but I did expect it to be clean and safe. It was neither. Damage around both doors consistent with break in attempts. Dirty linens with holes in them. Mold in the bathroom and duct tape on the doors.
DO NOT STAY HERE!! So so nasty, stains everywhere, broken fixtures, and unsafe feeling. The owners don't seem to understand English well so addressing and concerns or asking for a refund after we checked in was impossible. Someone started a fire in the building on our last night there. It smelled like a chemical fire, but staff did nothing to notify other guests, or ensure anyone's safety. Smoke alarms didn't go off even though the hallways were hazy.
Choosing this hotel was an absolute win-win! The prime location made exploring nearby attractions a breeze, with numerous points of interest and restaurants just a stone's throw away. The welcoming staff added an extra layer of comfort to our stay, going above and beyond to ensure we felt right at home. And let's talk about those mattresses - absolute heaven! After a day of sightseeing, sinking into such plush comfort was a dream come true. Plus, the cherry on top was the unbeatable affordability. It's rare to find such quality at such a reasonable price. If you're looking for the perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and value, this is it!
